Is anyone else disappointed with the female talent level in this season? I don't see much potential there. Nicole was pretty, but her body wasn't all that and now she's gone. I guess Brandy is kind of cute and Stephanie could be kinda hot. Mahsa just terrifies me.

It's probably a cheap way for NBC to fill out their weekly schedule. They have tons of unused footage from these reality shows, so it's a snap to stretch it out an extra hour and costs considerably less than producing a new show that nobody will watch.

OK, so I got Modern Family on DVD the other day and I saw Tyana playing a flight attendant in the pilot episode. WTF?

Though I am glad they are back to the original apprentice, and not celebrity apprentice which was just lets see who has the most rich friends. The show did pretty awful in ratings last night
at the 10pm hour it came in last
CBS: "The Mentalist" season premiere (15.3 million, 9.5/17)
ABC: "Private Practice" season premiere (9 million, 6.1/11)
NBC: "The Apprentice" (3.85 million, 2.6/4)
big drop off after the Outsourced" season premiere (7.4 million, 4.3/7)

It's nice that it doesn't feel like an hour-long infomercial for a change. And no sign of that hag Joan Rivers so far is big plus.

Wow.. David might be the most annoying human being I have ever seen.. How those guys could even stand to be in the same room with the guy is beyond me. He acts like he's 6 years old..
Then they stick up for him over the red head..

I decided to drop this show, as I previously did with the Celebrity edition. It is just people arguing with each other for an hour. I don't need that in my viewing schedule. Next.

Since I have nothing else to record in the 10 p.m. Thursday timeslot, The Apprentice was auto-recorded on my DVR, and this week's trainwreck was downright pitiful. Wow...

This doesn't seem possible: David is now dating Poppy.

I guess he didn't get his family back. I looked up his Apprentice profile, and he and his HS sweetheart have five kids.
Still, the guy has been a pretty colossal tool on the show.

Clint had a great line about David in the last episode. Not word for word but he said something like "You couldn't get a job as an Oompa Loompa making gobstoppers".

The David-Poppy relationship seems even more strange given their interaction this week. I guess some women are just attracted to tools.
As for the aforementioned tool...good riddance.

I'm finding this season to be one of the better ones... much better than the Celebrity Apprentice's. I hope it doesn't get canned after this season but I'm sure it will.

Who do you think is going to win?
Poppy looked hotter than ever in the last episode.

Of the two biggest blunders (Brandy's cheap golf sets as gifts vs. Clint's misspelled promo materials), I think Brandy's is less potentially crippling and thus, she wins. Plus, having golf pro Liza gives them a major advantage.
And didn't think it possible, but Liza ended up being my favorite contestant. She wasn't as talented as the others, but she's got a super interesting back story that I wish they'd explored more. (And yeah, I get that she screwed up by suggesting $500 golf sets as gifts for these guys who probably own $1000 putters, but I chalk that up to her being naive, not dumb.)
