I don't either, but I knew it would be the best answer.

I think my judgement may have been affected by the fact that I just finished watching Ashes to Ashes Series 3 just a couple of weeks ago.

I only knew the name from seeing DVD covers on this site. It is good Tracer decided to not penalize wrong sheep answers like that one time.

there's one on BBC right now and there's was one in the 50's, IIRC.

And created by Steven Moffat? Hmmm. He created Coupling - one of my favorite comedies of all time.

I challenge as well. The show took place in NY in the 70's.

Edit: didn't realize there was a UK version.

For at least the second time: It was a sheep question

Whichever sheepmaster decided to penalize wrong sheep answers was a genius.

Agatha Christie's Poirot is a British television drama that has aired on ITV since 1989. It stars David Suchet as Agatha Christie's fictional detective Hercule Poirot. It was originally made by LWT and is now made by ITV Studios. In the United States, it airs as Poirot.

Why is CSI: New York wrong for question #12? I'm pretty sure all of the CSI shows deal with homicides most of the time. Most of the characters on CSI NY are detectives too.
From wiki: "The show follows the investigations of a team of New York City Police Department forensic scientists as they unveil the circumstances behind mysterious and unusual deaths as well as other crimes."

I would not say that the Crime Scene Investigation department is on the homicide beat.

Since I'm a public defender, I can chime in with something at least slightly relevant. Members of the crime scene unit of my local PD are just as likely to show up for a robbery or B&E as for a murder. You never see them on a rape, though. I find that interesting. You may not.

ETA: I'm glad reading the TiVo descriptions for The Glades episodes I'm saving (not during the time I was coming up with answers -- before then) led to points. I'm also stunned we got no Andy Griffith or Maybury RFD answers but tons of folks said Car 54 Where are You? I figured the RFD was going to be the big unexpected point scorer, but I was wrong. Wrong

I don't know. I couldn't think of more than 2 answers to the next question and who knows what everyone will do on the last one. Sheep questions have screwed me in the past, why not now?

Yeah, I really struggled with the next question, and went with one of the only 2 I could think of.

By the way, I will challenge both versions of
Spoiler:
Life on Mars
if anybody happened to answer it for the next question.

I second the preemptive challenge.

I just realized I fucked myself on 15. A certain show completely slipped my mind.

I can certify that one of them was answered. Wanna go ahead and explain the challenge?
