Great character wasted on a crappy show

For me, it's Agent Cho on "The Mentalist". The show itself I think is crap, but I'd love to see a show just about that guy.

I actually enjoy The Mentalist, but agree that Cho is underused. The episode that focused on his gang past was great, but that's about all we saw of it, and no reference to it later on (the fact that his friend died due to his negligence). Plus his personal life isn't really explored as much as Rigsby and VP's.

Well, "The Mentalist" is a pretty damn good show, so I'd disagree with you on that one. I'd agree with Janis though.

I haven't seen the first 4 seasons, but I will say that much of Season 5 is pretty good, at least what I have seen. Pretty much every episode I saw had The Batman teaming up with other DC superheroes, a concept that is utilized much better in Batman: The Brave and the Bold (IMO)

I hated it. Is like the writers decides to change all the enemies appearance for the hell of it. The Joker didn't wear shoes and acted like the Beast.

Re: Great character wasted on a crappy show

Awesome thread. People posting pictures of people that others may not know, and not identifying them, nor the shows they're from or why they are "wasted" or the show is "crappy."

I know Kramer, Jimmy James(NewsRadio), Jack Bauer, Batman, and Syler(Heroes), but who are those other characters (except the first two, who were actually identified)?

Re: Great character wasted on a crappy show

Sylar on Heroes was definitely the first one who came to mind. If the show was just about him, I would've never given up the show. Others are:

Karen Walker on Will & Grace

Lex Luther in Smallville

and Alec in Dark Angel

Honestly, most any recurring character on that show qualifies, save for the two leads.

And neither is Big Bang Theory or Modern Family, while we're at it.
