He wasn't so great that they needed to go to the lengths they did to keep him around after the first season.

It wasn't always crappy, but it is now. Probably because they started to put more emphasis on the crappy supporting characters.

I agree. They ruined his character after season 1.

Sorry, I think Big Bang is. Take him out of the show and there is nothing....

Nikki cox's character on Unhappily ever after. The rest of the show was a trainwreck but seeing prime Nikki's boobies was legendary

Never seen a chick hit the wall as fast as her. Except maybe Lindsay Lohan.

The Batman was a fine addition to the Batman cartoon legacy and I loved it. It was a young Batman and the show had very interesting versions of characters in the Batman universe. In the last season they brought in the early stages of the The Justice League.

People get so hung up on BTAS and it's a shame. It was good but it certainly wasn't the only good Batman cartoon. Batman: Brave and the Bold is another example of a great Batman series.

I love the TAS and Brave and the Bold. But could never get into The Batman.

The series could've been fixed if, instead of a Starfleet ship, Voyager were a family transport. Janeway and Chakotay would've been husband and wife, with B'elanna their daughter. Tom would've been the pilot who was always trying to get into B'elanna's pants. Harry would've been a 10 year old boy, and Naomi Wildman would be the Jan Brady of the series. The Doctor would be this laughably evil jerk who stowed away on the ship and causing it to get lost in the Gamma Quadrant. He'd always be launching schemes to get back home at the expense of the other crew, usually employing the robot 7 of 9 and poor, dumb Harry to help.

And as for your suggestion: I see what you did there....

Blast from the Past!

Kirk Morris from "Dear John".

&

John Hemingway from "The John Larroquette Show". The show was good only in its first season.

Good call.

I'll add Dorothy Jane Torkelson (Olivia Burnette) from The Torkelsons and its re-imagining Almost Home.

Modern Family hasn't been posted -- that was Ed O'Neill's character on John From Cincinnati (which I thought was a great show all around, but most people didn't care for it).

I'm shocked, SHOCKED, that people don't recognize a screencap from "John From Cincinnati" on sight!

Yes, I disagree with Newsradio being called a crappy show. Very much so.

The show itself wasn't too bad (it's a guilty pleasure), but it had some major issues. But the character "John Doe" is pretty awesome.

Actually, this puts me in mind of two characters on Prison Break, perhaps the most ridiculous show I have watched portions of:

T-Bag
Michael Scofield

I cut out after the very start of the third season, I think. They may have ruined both characters. They were great those first couple of seasons, though.

At least Lohan was not deliberate. Why would someone pretty as Nikki get that horrific plastic surgery? It's like she wanted to be ugly. Maybe because she married a troll? Do they live under a bridge?

What am I -- chopped liver? The parrot (Zippy) was key to recognizing that this was Bill Jacks and not Jay Pritchett.

Man, I miss John From Cincinnati.
