There was the disclaimer at the beginning of the episode.

I had been researching the Loving v Virginia case so it was nice to see it turn up here. For some reason I'm not loving McCoy this season. If memory serves, he used to be the morally principled one where the law was concerned but now he's singing a slightly different tune.

And of course, we're one episode closer to Rohm's exit. Do we have an exact date so I can begin a countdown?

It was only so so for me. I am starting to really like Fontana though.

Manco 11-11-04 05:22 PM

Did Fontana cut himself shaving?

You mean that area on the left side of his throat that was REALLY noticable in Van Buren's office? I was trying to figure out what that was too........

Is it me or where they implying that Serena was gay. Sure, she would've just been on the side of gay rights, but my impression was that she had a vested interest in it.

We've never seen her with a boyfriend, have we? :eyebrow:

Duran 11-15-04 06:27 AM

I can't possibly believe her character would be that interesting.

movieking 11-15-04 04:53 PM

That would certainly be a twist. Maybe that is why she is one of the few that Jack didn't nail....as far as we know, that is!

I think that it would be great if she was, but I can't see it happening.

movielib 11-15-04 06:06 PM

This was one of the best episodes in a long time. It was almost as good (but not quite) as SVU.

I don't think Serena needs to be gay. It's stronger if she's on the right side without having a personal stake like that.

I'm not sure Jack was really on the wrong side. I think he would have taken whichever side helped him convict the guy.

I don't think so either. However, I will admit I was trying to read btwn the lines in her exchanges with Jack at the bar and with Jack & Arthur in Arthur's office.

Jack is pretty consistent and remember that he is Catholic, so he may very well be anti-gay marriage - don't forget the episode Thrill (one of my personal favs - going after the young murderers of a pizza delivery guy) where he had a hard time reconciling his duty as a prosecutor and his faith in Catholicism in attempting to pierce the priest-penitent priviledge.

No, that is Diane Kruger - the recent "Helen of Troy".

I thought you needed more help.

Cusm 11-22-04 09:54 AM

So we have another Jerry Orbach/Harry Morgan. A guest star getting a starring role in the same show as a different character.

Red Dog's day of deliverance draws near.

movieking 11-22-04 10:54 AM

So how many more episodes with Rohm? One article says she is there for 13 episodes, so how far are we in at this point?

I hope they kill her. Do someting dramatic to shake things up

Deftones 11-22-04 11:46 AM

I think we are about 7 or 8 in so far.

Cartload 11-22-04 12:27 PM

Good riddance to the Rohmbot. I hope the door hits her @$$ on the way out.

As is the case since Robinette left, the new ADA is easy on the eyes. Let's see if this one can act.
