I thought the MIB was able to look like Richard's wife because he found her necklace in the jungle or on the ship before he visited Richard as his wife.

I'm sure that there will be. All I'm saying is that I'd rather go into it with a positive attitude than a negative one. I haven't pre-determined that I'll love the finale, but after 6 years of the show being good more often than not, I certainly haven't pre-determined that I'll hate it either.

How many times have we all had that conversation? Lost mirrors real life.

I'm actually going into the finale with positive and negative mindsets. I am reasonably sure that we will get a satisfying resolution to something tonight. If the 2nd from last episode hadn't been so poorly acted and poorly written in parts as well as horribly misplaced in the season, it probably wouldn't have provoked such an outrage. I do have to give C&L credit for giving us some satisfying answers to some questions some of the time.

I am also reasonably sure they made us promises about having their shit together and satisfying us with answers to the major questions that they are in no way going to come close to fulfilling tonight. That really pisses me off on a whole other level.

You saw in this thread both the positive and negative outlook from me. You'll probably see the same from me in the thread about tonight's episode.

Fair enough.
