Profanity-laden tirades about how much the show sucks and how much Cuse & Lindelof suck are tiresome and serve no purpose for the rest of us.

I will be pissed if Richard and Widmore are dead after the whole "immortality/rules" shtick we've been fed all along to keep them alive.

one thing i didn't get was it seemed that we were led to believe that once you die on the island, in the flash-sideways world, you know what is going on. last night with anna lucia, she didn't know what was going on. sure, desmond said "she's not ready yet" but that seemed to be a cop out.

so, people hate LOST because of trivial shit like polar bears, numbers, and outriggers getting shot @
LMAO
just admit the anger is really about the show coming to an end after entertaining you for 6 years.

Things they spent whole seasons on and then forgot about are trivial?
And for me personally there is no anger, just disappointment. Still love the show just not happy that the one thing they decide to tie up was introduced in the season 5 finale.

as far as numbers... i thought Locke mentioning that Jacob had a thing for numbers were enough
and polar bears... wasn't dharma their basically to conduct experiments?

It's because it's a MacGuffin. So's the magic wine/water. So are the 'rules' governing all the stuff going on. So are Jacob's powers. So is Smokey. That's my biggest problem with last week's episode and the series in general. Throughout it's run, we've been led to believe the creators had a very clear explanation for the grand mystery of the island. Last week, they completely destroyed my faith in that. We'll see if the finale proves me wrong, but I'm not hopeful.

the outrigger shit bugged me, but i'm not tripping...i like funny theories like them shooting at themselves, lol

The polar bears have been explained as much as they need to be explained IMO.
The outrigger is more of a curiosity then a major question.

The outrigger isn't a major question but it's another in a long line of smaller questions that people are just using as an example.

Just some thoughts off the top of my head:
This is based on a line from Matrix that popped into my head, so buyer beware:
"Knowing the path and walking the path are not the same thing" Could MIB actually be the protector of the island? He kills people who come to the island, which would keep the island safe. Jacob brings people to the island endangering the light. He has been acting like the islands protector more than Jacob. Maybe destroying/sinking the island would keep the light safe.
I think Widmore wanted to kill Ben because Ben was resurrected by the corrupted light which he knew would change him forever.
