Loved it all, especially "Run, Joey, Run" and "Total Eclipse of the Heart"...
Brittany continues to be my new favorite character...

Pretty good episode, but Sue doing another music video was overkill. The New Version of Let's Get Physical was kind of silly, but funny too. Olivia Newton-John does look and sound great.
Loved Will doing Ice Ice Baby at the beginning. Some excellent dance chereography in that scene.
I liked the U Can't Touch This segment in the library.
I'm really not sure how I feel about the Glist storyline. It had some funny moments. I did enjoy Will's scene with Quinn when he confronted her about the Glist. That was some solid acting by Dianna. Matt Morrison did a good job with Will in this episode.

She is young and has a lot of energy. What's the problem?

I was mostly joking but saying you would beat the shit out of her? There are better targets out there.

Good episode, yeah it was obvious during the MC hammer library performance that only the blonde girl could dance
I didn't like Olivia newton john in this ep at all and i'm a huge fan of hers.
as long as we get a few songs from Lea Michelle, i'm happy

Didn't care for this episode.
I've been a fan of ONJ for years. The acting was really poor and she is really showing her age now
(62). Probably time to retire instead of trying to keep looking young which made the 'Physical' remake video a poor concept. What's with Jane and the obvious use of autotune there? I don't expect that of this show.
Matt doesn't want Britney to be the center of a theme episode and yet he sings some lame rap from Vanilla Ice. TPTB keep giving him rap/hip-hop and it's hilariously bad.
The rest of the songs were OK but it's been too karoake lately. Remember the breakout song from the pilot episode? They need to make more changes like they did with "Don't Stop Believing."

I liked this episode, Lea Michelle is the reason I watch this show, and anytime she gets a couple songs I'll take it.

Yeah, they've always used auto-tune for Finn, sometimes it is just more noticeable than others. That's the main reason why I don't care much for Finn in the show, not that he isn't an interesting character, but he just doesn't have the same vocal ability as the rest of the cast. He has a decent voice, but they should have him sing things within his range and not force him into songs that his voice can't handle. Choosing him as a male lead just doesn't make sense, because he really can't hold his own with Lea Michele; they needed someone with the talent of Jonathan Groff, who can more than hold his own, or even Mark Salling, who while not as vocally good as Jonathan Groff can still manage to hold his own without sounding like a pro.
Lea Michele is obviously the most talented cast member, followed by Matthew Morrison, but the rest all have great voices...Mark Salling, Dianna Agron, Amber Riley, Chris Colfer, Jenna Ushkowitz, Kevin McHale, Naya Rivera, and Jayma Mays can all actually sing. The problem with Cory Monteith is that we only hear his natural voice on a few rare occasions and so it's hard to compare him with the others whom I've never detected getting the help of autotune.
Jane Lynch was perfect on Vogue, albeit with autotuning, but it fit okay within the context of that song and that episode; that performance felt genuine. But to do two music video performances with autotuning is completely against the nature of this show. I watch the show to see new people covering cassic songs in new and different ways. I don't watch the show to see an old artist come on and rehash one of their most popular songs, shoehorning a plot element into the story for no real reason at all. They need to keep her singing to a minimum.
And what disappoints me even more is that "Physical" is going to be on the next album but "Run Joey Run" isn't going to be. I think that is truly insulting to the fans; if I wanted to hear Olivia Newton-John sing "Physical" I could just go buy HER album, but when I buy a Glee Album I want to hear the new and original songs, and to me "Run Joey Run" is an example of what the show is all about and properly should have been included on the CD.

Hmmm...I never noticed it was used on him. Guess it's more subtle then. I've heard him sing live on Oprah and he sounded alright.

That's the thing, he isn't a bad singer, but a lot of the songs he sings are just out of his range...if they would give him songs that were within his vocal range they wouldn't need to autotune him (compare him singing on "Don't Stop Believing" to "Smile" and it is painfully obvious which is completely ill-suited for his voice and needed autotuning).
