I really hope they release an album comprised of all the songs they haven't officially released yet. There will be at least 20 songs that have only been released as digital singles (not on actual albums) by the end of the season.

Let's get physical, physical. I wanna get physical...

We're back in the 80's.

In this week's Entertainment Weekly, Ryan Murphy said there would be 4 albums out by the end of this season. He's afraid to saturate the market especially with the four stop Glee concert tour. Your best bet would be to get the extra/missing songs from iTunes as soon as they show up.

I already have all the songs, I just want them on an actual CD. If they aren't counting The Power Of Madonna EP as an album, I'll be interest in seeing what they release on the 4th album, as the 3rd album has songs through episode 21.

I'm not going to miss any of these episodes, but I'm doubly not going to miss episode 19. It's a triple threat of guest talent.

"No one is accusing anyone of anything. Seriously Puck, was it you?" - Will

Brittany just killed it. Can someone post her lines about the antibiotics and forgetting how to leave and making out with boys and girls and the janitor?

I love when Sue calls Emma by the wrong name. Sue hiding baby monitors in Will's apartment, lol.

"My husband just died." - Random Lady
"Getting them fresh of the rebound, huh Will?" - Emma

"I'm kind of getting cold feet here." - Artie
"Can you even feel your feet?" - Brittany

That "U Can't Touch This" performance was a lot of fun!

"I don't know how to turn on a computer..." - Brittany

I'm dying at all of Olivia Newton-John's lines.

I liked the "Physical" performance, but it felt a little too crammed in the episode.

"Run Joey Run" was great. The return of Sandy Ryerson! They're totally under-utilizing Jonathan Groff though. Mark Saling and Jonathan Groff have such a better voices than Cory Monteith. I'm really disappointed "Run Joey Run" won't be on Volume 3.

I loved the "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" performance! I was telling my friend they needed to do a Jim Steinman song, glad they finally got around to it. That isn't a "bad" song though... Finally some Jonathan Groff vocals!

Sue's line from next week:

Spoiler:
"Loving musical theatre doesn't make you gay...it makes you awful."

Yeah, Total Eclipse was one of my fav of all the shows so far.... I wasnt really enjoying the songs this week, and then they killed it with that one.

Re: Glee -- "Bad Reputation" -- 05/04/10

The more I think about it, the more I'm disappointed by the whole "Physical" music video. It was totally unrealistic and seemed forced in there to get a big name star. When I watch Glee I want to hear the cast cover songs in a new and different way, adding something to the original and making it their own; I don't want to see an established singer come on and sing one of their songs, virtually indistinguishable from the original, save for an autotuned actress.

And that that song is going to be on the album and "Run Joey Run" isn't disappoints me even more. That is exactly what I want to see: Lea Michele take a song and run with it, and we got some great vocals by Mark Saling, Cory Monteith, and Jonathan Groff.

At least "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" is going to be on the album and was phenomenal.

Yet another hilariously awesome episode tonight. Molly Shannon actually fit in pretty well. Brittany can move. "I can't remember how to leave."

That's the whole reason she's on the show - she's was featured on "So You Think You Can Dance" and danced backup for...I think Beyonce. The awesome one-liner ability is something they discovered along the way.

This episode really turned it around in the back half. "Ice Ice Baby" was fun but kind of random. "U Can't Touch This" was good too but I wasn't too impressed with "Physical" but I wasn't blown away by "Vogue" either. I'd rather see a great number from Jayma Mays over Jane Lynch at this point, as much as I love her character.

But once we hit "Run Joey Run" it was pretty much gold from there on out.

EDIT: Also, I can't believe "kick you in the taco" made it past the censors.

Honestly, I waited for a long time to see a number with Jane Lynch, and then they did two "music videos" that weren't really all that funny only a few episodes apart. That's more than enough.

Let's give Emma a number, or let Tina sing another lead. Just didn't need another Sue video so soon, especially with a "joke" that wasn't particularly hilarious.

It's still my favorite show on TV and I purchase the night's songs the second I get done. I just wish they passed the love around a little bit more.

American Idol made this cut off....Again. Ughhhh.
Enjoyed the show, especially the remake of Physical with all the muscle guys. Great to always see Olivia.
I don't remember the song, Run Joey Run at all and I grew up in the 80's.

Fuck, fuck, fuck. Forgot to pad again. Idol deserves to drop in the ratings and lose the #1 crown to Dancing.

This is such an inventive show. Tonight, I thought things got scattered (and as people have already pointed out, Olivia Newton-John's appearance seemed forced [although welcome]), but once that was out of the way, the rest of it certainly rang true. I really enjoyed Rachel messing it all up. While "Run, Joey, Run" came out of left field, wouldn't Rachel do that?

Bringing Quinn back into the plot was greatly appreciated, and her role in the episode was the "Quinn" I know and love.

Matthew Morrison finally redeemed himself for me. Schuester only holding hands with April showed him to be a better person than I'd ever be, but he was roundly punished tonight for being so nice. Jayma Mays is always enjoyable. She may have the best adult character, since Emma seems particularly challenged and can grow/change.

The choice of material never matters much to me, but how it's performed and imagined is a particular joy of this show. If the goal is to hit the charts, good luck. But I'm much more likely to watch a whole episode again, than listen to any of the tracks on iTunes (I do, but it's the context that really rings my bell.)

I was very sorry to hear in the previews for next week that Rachel will never sing again (oops, just kidding).

I've seen the little Glee blurbs they film behind the scenes for the website, but this is the first lengthy interview I've seen with her. I'd have to say, after five minutes with her, I'd probably beat the shit out of her.
