I started watching MERCY because I saw that Michelle Trachtenberg was on it...I LOVES ME some Michelle Trachtenberg. I liked it but didn't always watch. Then one day I saw the Kate Mulgrew played the main character's crazy Irish Mother and I was HOOKED.
I think it's pretty common for dvdtalkers to go see TV shows and movies based solely on their Cock's Preference.

This will really date me, but I was a kid when CHiPs first came out. One of the ads for the show called them the "Batman and Robin of the California Highway Patrol." Since I was a big Batman and Robin fan, I started watching it for that reason alone. I guess I was expecting them to use cool gadgets to fight crime. Sadly, I never saw a batarang on the show.
