I'm with you on rooting for Kenny. He's entertaining. I'm interested to see how he does as the "underdog".

I'm cheering for Kenny too. I don't think people are siding with Wes because he's more likeable, just because they had to pick one side or another and just happened to pick Wes. Wes still seems far more of a douche to me.

I take back anything i said about my little Ferengi EV, gaining some weight. She is still a wicked sharpie when it comes to strategy, is able to carry a man sized load unlike her femme partner, and reminded me why i like her so much with the whole " i am supposed to be the strongest girl here, now i have to prove it" thing

as the kids today say, big ups to her.

By the way, regarding the Kenny and Wes battle down the line - spoilered in regards to future developments...

From the Johnny Bananas, Kenny, Evan trio I always thought JB was the real asshole/dick of the bunch by far. Kenny always seemed to be there for the ride, bang some girls, get some cash, don't care how I come off type of guy. Evan actually seems like a half decent, funny, likable guy. But that's just me.

I am going to miss Paula, seeing her lose was pretty hard to watch. You kind of felt sorry for her after watching the exile last night. Wes calls Kenny stupid, but he looked pretty stupid trying to carry his partner on his back during the challenge. I don't want Kenny or Wes to win anything, I am tired of seeing the same people win these shows.

I want Landon to win, he seems the most normal person who is a good competitor.

Kenny screwed himself over when he put his strongest ally (Darrell) in the duel/showdown/whatever in week one. Evan would have never let that happen.

I've said before that Kenny is probably very funny in real life which is a big reason why he's always won these shows. Unfortunately, the leader of the opposition is the guy who dislikes him the most.

Wes' alliance seems to be cracking.

Shouldn't Katelynn have a lot more physical strength since she used to be a man? Or do the female hormones diminish that?

So is the no drinking before challenges a well known rule among the contestants? It must be. So is it ok to drink the night before a challenge but not the morning of? So what is the cut of time for drinking - midnight?

She's a man. I was thinking it wasn't fair to the other contestants but it turns out she's weaker then the other women, strange.

Love Kenny and Laurel, well Laurel and I just like Kenny.

EV's ego has gotten way too big and she needs to be taken down a peg or 2.

Laurel gets better every week. Did she come from one of the Real Worlds? I stopped watching those before the one in Vegas. If Kenny had chosen anyone else, he probably would be gone.

Wes' alliance is basically most of the house, so it's probably only a surprise to Wes that some of them would figure out that not everyone could make it to the end with him.

Laurel is a Fresh Meat - this is her first appearance on a Bruim/Murray production.
If she had appeared on a previous Real World/Road Rules or a previous challenge -
she couldn't be partnered with Kenny.

Each team consists of a pro/vet (someone who has appeared on a Real World, Road Rules
or one of the previous challenges) and a newcomer aka Fresh Meat.

Kenny has been basically on all the challenges (only skipping The Duel 2) since starting on
Fresh Meat 1 so he is the pro/vet of the team.

Thanks, I thought that some of the Fresh Meat could have been people who'd been on the Real World, but had never done any of the challenges before.

They did a lousy job then, imo, casting the Fresh Meat. I don't see many people with potential for me wanting to see them on other challenges.

Off the top of my head...just Laurel sticks out and some of them are just dreadful.

Even if there are 2 or even 3 that come back, is that considered good? How many from the first Fresh Meat went on to become "regulars?"

I would assume they wanted better people, because the "stars" of these challenges are getting older and probably will be less inclined to keep coming back.

I hope Paula decides to give it up, but I think these shows are her life. Kind of sad, really.

Casey (absolutely love Casey), EV, Kenny, Evan, Ryan (completely forgot he was FM1), Eric (The fatty), Diem (forgot she was FM1 as well)

So 6 from Fresh Meat 1 went on to become regulars. That's not bad.

Of these I think the only 3 that are locks are Brandon, Laurel, Noor. They might try and turn Mandi into the new Casey but she doesn't have the personality. Theresa who thinks she's the hottest girl there will probably be brought back to the vets can pick on her.

So I can see 5 out of this group. The white guys all seem pretty interchangeable at the moment so I'm not sure about any of them.

I found this free in HD on Demand (I don't have MTV in HD) so unfortunately I get to fall a week behind the rest of the season, which also means I can't check the thread later tonight.

It's hard to see Kenny and Laurel losing an exile. The only girl that's even comparable in athletic skill is Ev, and her partner is no Kenny. It might benefit some of the low totem pole teams to try to make a secret alliance with Kenny.

I don't think Evelyn has changed at all; she's just not usually in power.

That's unfortunate, because part of what I enjoy about the show is coming here and reading your analysis.

I like discussing all these mostly no talent ass clowns on here (Susie is an obvious exception as she has talent and is not an ass clown), but given a choice I'd rather watch it in HD. It was like watching a completely different show tonight.

Can anyone explain to me why Wes, Landon, Ev and CJ were talking about Danny going in if Kenny won? Are they consulting with Kenny but MTV's just not showing it on camera? It's Kenny's choice if he wins so I don't really get it.

Yeah, I didn't get that either. I think Kenny is trying to protect Ryan thinking he's still on his side. The smart play would be to put EV in every time because I think they're the only real competition.

The people falling off the hanging punching bag and into the water had me rolling with laughter.

Wes continues to be a douche. Danny sucks
