I thought the bitching between Laurel and Carly was pretty pointless. So what if Her and Kenny lost. If anything it was a team effort at the end, when Landon was pushing her ass up the mountain. I am sure we will have to deal with seeing her on these challenge shows for years to come.

Finally saw the reunion.

I have always watched these shows as a guilty pleasure and probably still will, but that reunion was just horrible to sit through.

I can't believe that Laurel gave no indication of being a mean, cocky bitch for the entire season and there's no reason they would have edited all of it out.

Clearly, she's been coached by Kenny or the producers on how to act now, what her tv persona is from here on out, because they expect her to be the big star coming out of the season.

The mixture of these people being themselves and acting for the camera has just gotten unbearable for me and, unless Susie comes back again, I'm not ever going to make the mistake of genuinely liking anyone again because they're just like the characters on a scripted show for the most part. If they slip up, MTV simply edits it to fit back into the narrative that they want for that character.

I'm no fan of Wes, but I disagree that everyone comes on with the same shameless, whorish desires as Kenny. I'm sure they all like and crave the perks that come with being on tv, but you do see that playing the game, making friends, having incredible experiences, etc, means something to some much more than it does with others.

As low as they've set the bar, I'm surprised that MTV hasn't put together a show to let Wes and Kenny do an extreme cage fight to settle their differences once and for all.

Of course, when then camera lights are off, I'm not even sure that much of "Kenny" exists, because he'd get killed eventually if he acted like that everywhere he went.

I do look forward to one thing on the next one of these shows...the inevitable challenge battle and sexual hook-up between Ev and Laurel. I'm sure the producers have thought about how to make it happen.

Is MTV airing "The Shit they should have shown episode" this week? My Dvr cut off the end of the reunion show which usually says if there is one.

Doesn't look that way. Nothing on the schedule I could see.
