I don't think Bedelia and Nelson have been in an episode together since the premiere.

I thought it was ok. This series is similar to Brothers & Sisters in that the scenes where the siblings are interacting with each other are much better than the individual stories.

I wish this series existed in the real world.

It was a good episode overall with the exception of Max getting on my nerves.
I am not even in the damn family, and i am annoyed at how EVERYTHING revolves around Max.

"Max demands ice cream, so screw you and your water breaking. Maybe we can drop you off at the hospital AFTER he gets his Cherry Garcia"

I have no clue how accurate the show is in detailing Aspergers, but it sounds like you need to be on top of the kid every single second and make sure that everything is running smoothly for your kid, even if it means having to alter plans at a moment's notice.

I agree with others that the scenes between Peter Krause and Lauren Graham are the best. Two of the best in television trading dialogue with each other.

If I had called one of my friend's parents by their first name, my parents would have heard about it and put a stop to it. I was raised to address my friend's parents as Mr. and/or Mrs. No exceptions. I still can't call my friend's parents by their first names even though we're both adults. It's too weird. I kept waiting for Adam to go off on Steve about that.

Once I realized that Mr. Cyr was played by Jason Ritter, I could see the resemblance to his father. It was a little hard to see due to the soul patch, but it's definitely there. Good thing his dad didn't do anything romantically with Lauren in Bad Santa. That would. be. awkward. now.
