I'm going to go out on a limb and say Claire is not "infected." Sayid mentioned he no longer feels no emotion. I think Claire is mentally damaged and has been manipulated by Locke for years, but not infected (read: beyond saving) like Sayid.

My early predictions for who won't be left alive at the end of the series:
Sayid
Ben; will die saving Ilana
FLocke; will be destroyed by Jack
Desmond
Kate; will die saving Sawyer
Richard

Just as long as they don't kill off Anya, I'm fine.

My local affiliate screwed up the signal for about 5 minutes in the middle. Could someone tell me what happened?

I saw the part where Sun and Jin were with the gangsters in the hotel. They agreed to take Sun to the bank and Jin to the restaurant. SCREEN FROZE When it came back, Flocke and Widmore were standing on the beach and it went straight to commercial.

So I missed that whole beach scene. And I'm guessing there a scene with Richard returning to Jack's group.

Could someone recap for me? Thanks.

Jack's group discussed Sun not being able to speak English any longer (although she can understand it) and Richard returned and told them to pack their bags, that they are leaving. That's about it.

Thanks. I figured there was a scene like that.

What happened with Flocke and Widmore on the beach? I missed that whole scene too.

Locke and Widmore played "who has the biggest dick" and Locke won.

Locke: Do you know who I am?
Widmore: Obviously, you're not John Locke. (something about hearing stories about him)
Locke: I think you know more than that. Where's Jin?
Widmore: I don't know what you're talking about.
Locke: A wise man once said "War is coming to this island." I think it just got here.

I feel like Mikhail getting shot in the eye is some sort of clue, I'm just not clever enough to figure it out. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

He wore a patch on that eye.

So his life on the island takes place after this timeline?

Fate never changes. Whether or not the plane crashes on the island, each person will still interact and have the same fate with some slight alterations.

It might be some kind of clue.

Or it might just be another parallel between the two realities, like Locke still being in a wheelchair despite being on good terms with his father, Ben still being near Alex, so many people being on the plane that were there before, Kate still being a fugitive, Kate whacking the marshal on the head in the same place the brief case hit him, Sawyer and Miles working together...

I liked this episode alot. Actually alot of my favorite character episodes of Lost revolved around Jin and Sun. I actually really like their storylines. But, compared to the Ricardo episode last week this definitely wasn't as good.

I liked that they brought back the shootout scene from the restaurant and put it through the eyes of Jin this time around.

I'm conflicted about Charles Widmore. I really don't know what his intentions are. Now he says he wants to make sure Locke-monster never leaves the island. What is he getting out of this? And now, he kidnaps Desmond for what purpose?

I did think the V countdown bug on the lower right corner of the screen was really annoying even though I do watch and like the show.

just busting, I loved this episode, but I have been in the group who has loved every episode this season.

Well Charles was the last leader before Ben, and I feel that we will find out that he was much more "in the know" of things, than Ben. I feel he is just continuing his duties in one way or another. I feel Ben's purpose as a leader was much different than previous leaders. Maybe Ben's main job was just to hold fort, until shit started going down in terms of the end of whatever Jacob planned.

Okay, I can't believe no one has brought this up, but what the hell was up with Keamy mentioning the island to Jin while he was tied up in the fridge? I've listened to it a half dozen times to make sure I heard it right. Was that the first mention of the island in the sideways flashes?

Keamy: "Gonna strap you in here in case you figure out what happened to the island. I can't have you freaking out"

It was right at the 30 minute mark. Am I hearing that right? Full Episode Link

I swear I could NOT tell that was Desmond - I had to come here to find out.

The two picking him up and carrying him off the dock saying "Come on, Hume" was a pretty big clue. ;) But seriously, he was nearly unrecognizable laying on the dock looking at Sayid though.

I agree with this.

Did not catch that island reference at all. Has that been confirmed?

What's the dialogue after he talks about the island? I remember hearing that and being in shock, but then he said something else and somehow I assumed he was talking about Japan. I have to rewatch that.

Also, when Jin received his watch back, there was a guy sitting in that room that looked familiar, he was the only one there, does anyone remembers him?

Oh and Sun in a bra... I was already with my pants down until my wife yelled at me. :(

Right after that he goes into the "I can't tell you how unhappy Mr. Paik was when he found you you were doing his little girl."

I just watched that part again. At first it sounds like island, but he actually says "just in case you figure out what's about to happen to ya, I can't have you freaking out". I thought it was island too the first time.

Desmond looked like the last time he arrived back on the island, eyes glazed over, having just pounded a bottle of scotch.. only this time he was drugged.. lol

Re: Lost -- "The Package" -- 03/30/10

The closed captions, in the abc website, say "what's about to happen to you", but yeah, it still sounds like "island" to me too.
