If MiB is to be believed, that is the list of candidates set forth by Jacob. Obviously the writers want us to question Kate being left off the list.

It's Jin. We saw Jacob touch his arm. And if that's right, all 6 candidates are men. Coincidence, I think not.

He touched Kate too, but she doesn't seem to be a candidate.

Good point. I'm wondering if the non-crash timeline is a timeline without Jacob's involvement. Hence, much better lives for our Losties.

It supports the theory that Radzinsky sunk the island by drilling, and the bomb going off actually saved it. (Hence Eloise Hawking telling Ben regarding bringing the 06 back, "God help us all if you fail") They needed to return, and blow the bomb, to save the timeline.

Did he? I honestly can't remember. I was relying solely on tonight's flashbacks.

edit: Okay, I remember that CharlieK. Thanks

Jacob touched young Katie on the nose after he paid for her stolen lunch box.

Great episode!

Yeah. He touched her on the nose after she was caught stealing as a child.

These answers are ruining the show! We need more mysteries.

He did in the flashback where she was caught shoplifting from the Iowa gas station when she was a little girl

Jesus, the answers that people have been bitching about for close to six seasons finally start filtering out and people still find things to complain about. -rolleyes-

I hope Ben eventually gets back to his old self, but so far, he still has the cowardness going on. Although it was nice to see him lie to Ilana about MiB killing Jacob. I didn't care for last week's episode too much. This week was great though. Richard, Ben, Locke, and Sawyer involved in an episode is always a good thing.

I dunno, I loved what they did with Ben at the funeral. (Frank was funny as as hell btw)

A lot of people thought Ben would do something to try and redeem himself this season and I feel he's starting down that path.

Ben has always been a coward. He hasn't really been able to off anyone by himself other than his dad and Locke (twice).

Same thing I said last week:

My enjoyment of an episode is directly proportional to the amount of Locke in that episode.

Anybody know what the "inside joke" was with Locke throwing the rock into the ocean? Or why there were scales with rocks on them in the cave?

Helen also mentioned Locke should bring his dad to the funeral, which begs the question of how he wound up in the chair in the alt. universe.

And I'll repeat myself from a couple weeks ago: Terry O'Quinn is awesome.

White Rock = Jacob. Thrown in ocean.

Black Rock = Fake Locke

My guess is that it is going to have something to do with the black/white stones on Adam and Eve.

The balance of light vs dark (good vs evil/MIB vs Jacob). Locke threw the white rock.

And if you noticed before he took it off the scale, the black was just slightly heavier (so the dark side is winning at the moment).

Probably just the fact that he knew that Jacob was "done with" and he could just toss him away. Now, is that boy a representation of a third figure in this game? An overseer or rulekeeper perhaps?

How about these:

Who is the boy, and why is Flocke surprised that Sawyer can see him?
Why did Ilana take Jacob's ashes and why?
How did Locke break his back, since he is now on good terms with his father...at least enough that his fiancee would invite his dad to their wedding?

I'm guessing the scale was symbolic of the "balance" of good and evil. The MiB tossed the white rock, or the "good" side of the balance.

I thought that was "Little Jacob". It's strange that Sawyer could see him, but not Richard.
