that might be a good pick, depending on what he's doing in a few years. if he still has that same buzz about him that he does now, i could see it.

I wish you all would leave Jay Leno alone. His show will be perfect... FOR ME TO POOP ON!

I'm confused with this post. Why don't you just make your name 'Jason' instead of 'fuzzbox' so you don't have to sign your name at the end?

So if Conan gets a late night show, wont it hurt Jays ratings too ? Conan only needs to take a portion of Jays audience ...

he'll probably take a little from both Jay and Letterman. I think that's going to hurt more than paying him off. NBC was stupid to allow him to walk, fully knowing he could be siphoning off viewers from the very show he was just booted from.

Jerry Seinfeld perhaps? He's the only one i can see pulling in strong ratings. I think he could be a pretty funny host.

That man has more money than he knows what to do with. There's no way he'd ever host a show on a nightly basis.

But wasnt NBC in a bind ? If they booted off Leno, he could do the same thing and take viewers away from Conan.

Plus, his age is more of an issue than Jon Stewart's. He turns 56 this year.

yeah, but they could've stuck it out with him at the 10pm slot for 2 years, then figured out what to do. would've been cheaper.

That's another thing--Carson was 66 when he retired, Leno is 59 now.

Which I guess would be more of an issue if not for that deal Leno made with the devil to ensure eternal life and right to host The Tonight Show.

Genius piece of comedy in concept, writing and execution. I suggest the "writers" at SNL be required to watch this.
