Looks like if you picked from the Galu tribe you're safe for awhile. Unless, your pick was Shambo, because she'll be the first to go from Galu unless someone else stirs up a raucous.

I just got to watch the ep finally. Really glad Shambo made such a positive impression with the other tribe. If she can last until the merge, I have a feeling she will do well. Especially if it looks like she may be onto their camp's idol.

I think the only way Shambo makes it to the merge is if there's a tribe swap. I think Galu is gelling right now and Shambo seems to be on the outside of that. Plus, they may be on to the fact that Shambo made nice with the other tribe. Of course, we've seen many times on Survivor where a tribe loses a challenge because of one idiot and they send said idiot home. I get the feeling that Yasmin is stupid enough to open her mouth after a loss and get sent home because of it.

I'm liking my pick. Monica looks like a lock to make it deep in the game because she seems very unassuming. Plus she looks good in a bikini.

And our defending champ goes down.

My girl made it close after not being able to cross that rope walk but when you have idiots like Yasmin on the team, it's not hard to get around a bad challenge performance. Either way, her days are numbered.

And still Shambo hangs on! Losing fishing equipment and then letting a chicken escape....I feel like maybe they are setting her up to look like a loser while she really goes a long way. Or so I keep telling myself...

I think she's doing more providing than they're letting on. She seems to do a lot of things the others are clueless about, despite her eccentricities, and her name only came up from one person when it was time for tribal. My guess is that she could still survive another cut (Monica would go home next).

If she can make it to the merge, she could go very far, as it will be an individual game then and she's the least of their threats. Plus, she'll have numbers from the other tribe to protect her.

And there's still a whole cast of characters we've barely seen yet that will probably be the focus of the second half of this season. None of them are at risk of being voted out and most likely they'll be the ones cutting the true threats.

Yeah, half the people haven't even spoken a line yet it seems like. Last night was the first time I even remember hearing Brett speak at all.

And Shambo telling the others the immunity hints....

They haven't. I probably wouldn't have noticed except that I'm pulling for my pick, Laura, and she had one line the episode before last. Otherwise you wouldn't even know she's on the tribe. I've seen her so little I keep confusing her for another tribe member, who we also never see.

Go Shambo! Hope the merge happens soon.

Anyone else getting the feeling that "Evil" Russell will be this year's Richard Hatch?

I can't imagine the guy making it to the very end, but then again, people really seem to trust him in the clips they show. If he can stay strong through the merge, he could go very far.

Gotta feel for Russel. Looks like he really wanted to be part of the game. But it would have killed him.

I wasn't pleased this week to find out that Laura (my pick) and Monica are so close, making them targets. Good news is that everyone seems to be more focused on Monica as the weaker of the two. Maybe if she's voted out, that'll keep Laura safe for a bit. Then again, if both make it to the merge, Laura would be in bigger trouble, I'd think.

And what was that I saw in the previews?

That sucked going out that way...I feel like he was a great player....I'd love to see Mick and Erik team up at the merge even though they seem to be so competitive against each other.
