I'm going to count Gates McFadden as a wrong answer for the time being. 30 points to:

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

Why does Genevieve Bujold count if Jeffrey Hunter doesn't?

Fuck that. If you ran google for Love Connection game show, you'd get zillions of hits. As we know, that doesn't make it so.

Because she was officially hired onto a series that had a commitment from a network.

How is "I was fired and the producers decided to ask me back" any less ugly than "I quit and decided to come back and/or the producers asked me to come back?" If anything, her given answer strikes me as less diplomatic -- rather than fall on the sword and blame herself for leaving the show, she puts the blame on the producers.

That's not why I decided against Gates McFadden.

You know how this works. Offer proof that she quit.

She wasn't the one who stated she was fired, Joan Rivers did. She laughed it off and agreed, which is less confrontational then correcting her and saying she quit.

Thank you. This is bullshit, and mark my words, if I end up losing because of this bullshit, revenge is a dish best served cold.

Okay! Answers verified.

There were two wrong answers, and several really excellent unique answers.

You guys really outdid yourselves on this question.

Re: Star Trek Sheep: The Next Generation

I probably haven't seen SNL for ten plus years, so I went with someone famous who I'd assumed had to have been on there..

http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Gates_McFadden
"Unofficially, there were some disagreements between the show's producers and McFadden as to how the character should develop, which may have led to some bad blood between her and several executive producers, resulting in McFadden's being released from her contract before the second season. But thanks to a letter-writing campaign, support from Patrick Stewart, and a personal invitation from Rick Berman, McFadden was brought back to the TNG cast for the third and subsequent seasons."

I think this implies that she was fired.
