Whew! For a second there, I thought he was going to say the April 2 episode is so-so and the rest of the season is crap...

Finally the an answer we have been ponding on:

INSIGHT: Within the rules of Survivor, Taj has absolutely zero claim to the idol. If you give the idol to someone for "safe keeping" you better trust them because the person who possesses it owns it. Period. The only exception is theft –you cannot steal the idol from someone.

This was a good episode. Both challenges were great and there was a good sense of not knowing who was going home.

Tyson is a smart dude. He picked up on the Brendans relationship with the other tribe quickly.

I've decided never to watch previews again. I knew who would win immunity because Taj's breakdown didn't happen before the IC started.

I'm really hoping that there is no tribe swap this season. The teams are so perfectly matched up at this point. Either team has a real shot at immunity and reward every week. But I'm sure there will be a swap, there always is.

Even though Jeff says the clip show is good, I still won't watch it.

Sucks we have to wait 3 weeks for a new episode.

what about if you "hide" it as brendan (?) did. then someone comes along and truly happens upon it by mistake? does that count as stealing it? who has the rights to it then?

to go one step further, what if the original owner (or anyone for that matter) then claims they hid it there first. who are they supposed to believe? will jeff be required to step in and say the original owner has claim to it?

Cool reward challenge. Very funny.

to Sydney sticking around another episode.

Taj is a an idiot for getting so vocal.

at these people who get so choked up about a letter from home after only being away a couple weeks.

RE: Sydney : Keep your mind on the game, Red Dog! Naughty boy!

RE: The weeping: Yeah, it is pretty funny. Surely some of them (especially the ones with kids) truly get emotional, but I think a few are faking it so they won't look hardhearted & cold to the others. The kiss of death would be for them to make fun of any of the emotional ones.

To me, it's kind of like the concern some of them show if somebody gets sick & making noises about going home when they're really going "YEAH!!!" inside.
