He didn't spoilerize anything. Goldberg spoilerized it in his quote. The original info is still out there.

I don't care personally, as I always watch the previews, myself, but some people don't like that.

Spoiler:
Anubis was the son of Osiris, the god of the underworld, and Nephthys, Set's sister and wife. Nephthys and Isis tricked Osiris one night. Nephthys never liked Seth(Set), but she always had a "thing" for Osiris.Since Nephthys and Isis were twins, they were able to trick Osiris into sleeping with Nephthys one night instead of Isis.As a result, Anubis was born.Nephthys was very angry since Set killed Osiris so she left him and assisted Isis, Osiris's wife and Nephthys ran away with her son, Anubis.

Also, in regards to Horace (Horus):

[spoiler]Horus was the half-brother of Anubis (same father/different mother). I doubt this winds up playing any potential role, but, knowing Lost...)

Thanks,

It's on the other side of Libya. In ancient times, it probably would have been well within reach of the Egyptian empire by sea.

I love this show. I love being confused, thinking it over and coming up with something that makes sense. Last night was fantastic. I don't think I've liked any drama on TV this much since Twin Peaks.

Same here, I usually don't comment on episodes but to me this was the weakest of this season so far.

(Guessing on the 2000s here).

Goodspeed is the one who eventually dies in the van.

How do you know Locke is in 2008? When was that established after the crash?

It hasn't for certain been declared 2008, though that seems like a distinct possibility. Recall that a couple of other new survivors (new character Cesar, in particular) were rummaging through what seemed like a long abandoned Dharma station - and that the "runway" that Sawyer was helping build during his polar-bear-cage days is there, just next to the downed Ajira aircraft.

To me, episodes like this are the reason I love Lost.

815 crashed in "real time" (2004) and clearly 316 is meant to be 815's doppleganger.

Agreed. I'm probably in the minority, but I thought last night's episode was far superior to Locke's episode last week.

I bet I can guess what the second rule of Lost threads is...... :)

This was a great, great episode. Great character moments from Sawyer especially.

And that statue! I don't normally "talk back" to shows I watch, but when they showed that statue, my mouth kind of dropped open and then the sound for the flashes started and I said something like Marty McFly....."Noooooooooooo! Bastards!" :)

Such a fun show to watch and enjoy. The only thing that confuses me is how a network can have this show and then the same network cancels Life on Mars. (OK, so I do understand why, but I am just bitter....)

And thanks to various posts on here reminding me of a few items that have gotten cloudy over time.

This ep was far and away the highlight of the season for me.
