Lost -- "LaFleur" -- 3/4/09

Not a very descriptive synopsis:

Spoiler:

Sawyer and other island survivors perpetuate a lie to protect themselves from mistakes of the past.

...and the security guard from Mallrats, apparently.

I saw a pic that was in Entertainment Weekly a couple of weeks ago. Looking at it is it just me and I hope that I'm not spoiling anything here, but it looks like Jack Hurley and Kate are dressed in something from the late 60's to early 70's. I'm wondering if the time shift zapped them back to sometime around this period. I don't know if anyone has posted anything about this but the VW Darma bus that Jin pulled up in looked to new. I'm wondering if 316 when it went thought the worm hole went back in time and took everyone with them. So I wonder tonight if this is going to be answered because if so it could open a whole new can of worms.

I'm definitely under the assumption that the last flash when Locke fixed the wheel took them to some point in the past before 815 crashed on the island.

The security guard in Mallrats was named La Fours. Im curious as to what the relevance of "LaFleur" is to this episode. LaFleur is my last name.

Just a heads up:

It looks like they're taking a break next week!

This is the schedule:

7pm central: Two Scrubs repeats
8pm central: A repeat of this week's Lost episode
9pm central: New Life on Mars

Yes. I believe you are correct. The condition of the VW bus from the last episode is your most solid evidence that your theory is correct. I would expect that the pop-up video in this week's replay will confirm that as well.

That episode was two weeks ago. The pop-up video replay was last week.

Regarding the title, I'm going out on a limb here at guessing:
Spoiler:
LaFleur (French) = The Flower (English) = The Orchid station. Not sure why it's in French unless it also includes Rousseau in some manner.

Or I'm just stretching for a simple answer without introducing a bunch of new things.

Thought the whole point of these shorted seasons were no breaks? Damnit. Is Obama speaking again or something?

have you watched the episode or just read a long synopsis?

Re: Lost -- "LaFleur" -- 3/4/09

From what I am finding on the internet, there is speculation that the breakneck pace they have been making them and shooting parts of multiple episodes at the same time caught up with them and they are just behind on the process and everyone is worn out.

Apparently there will be another break on April 22nd with a clip show which has led to speculation that there will be a 4 part finale since in the past the clip show has always preceeded the finale (and this clip show would be early enough that they come up 4 episodes shy of the season)
