Go where? Is Cheaper By The Dozen 3 being prepped yet?

Shazam. Thank you. Tom Welling should be hanging on to this one trick pony tooth and nail until it is no more. That said, I iterate that I'm with people who posted here saying the only reason they're still watching is because I want to see it END. I think the CW execs are mistaking the audience they have in the ratings. They are there to see it END not drag on for ANOTHER season. I bet next year will end up being its wimpering final when the ratings do drop off after the frustrated fans who want to watch them shape a decent series finale finally quit and the show gets the typical unceremonious axe with a mere 2-3 episodes to wrap up the series. Lame.

It does suck that Everybody Hates Chris is getting the axe, but again I have several stacked up on TiVo and certainly don't rush to watch them.

I was really unhappy with this too. Even more so with Ma Kent and the Lionel. Seems they got rid of everyone over 40.

Fog 2 anyone??

Re: CW Renews 90210, Smallville and More

Ya for Smallville - although I was really expecting this to be the final season. Almost like I was expecting it to be the final season. I am sure next year I won't want it to end but it must end in season 9. I just want them to bring Pete and Martha back and Clark and Lois closer and Lex returning as a big suprise for next year.

One Tree Hill - Another Favorite. Glad Its Back.

All the shows I watch on TV are coming back yeah!

I agree they should bring Martha back at least for some appearances but please, do not bring Pete back.

Re: CW Renews 90210, Smallville and More

For season 9, they need to bring back Annette O'Toole for at least a few episodes.

Also, they need to bring back Annette's husband Michael McKean as Perry White. What the heck happened to that anyways? I recall he was a guest star a few seasons ago and it never went anywhere.

Martha? Yes.

Perry White? Yes.

Pete? Gawd no. fans always wondered what it would be like if he came back and we got the Stride gum episode commercial. Makes you wonder if his agent even read the script before agreeing to do it.

Re: CW Renews 90210, Smallville and More

I'm still a fan of Smallville (most weeks), but I think they should go out with a bang this season rather than drag it out another season. Having Clark stuck in the no-flight-no-tights world ANOTHER year just seems completely pointless. He should totally be Superman after having his powers for almost 10 years now.

Yeah here is the origin of the Hilarie Burton and Chad Michael Murray story. Both are leaving the show.

There is a nice little Youtube clip from Hilarie on that blog Gizmo posted that bascially confirms she's leaving.

No biggie for me as I don't care for either one that much.

I can deal with Lucas being gone too. Since the jump-ahead, I haven't cared about his character either.

I'm more of a fan of Bethany Joy, so as long as her and James are back, then I will definitely be back for season 7. Maybe this means more screen time for Skills?

Regime change at CW's '90210'
Sinclair to run show through 2011; Sachs, Judah exits likely
By Nellie Andreeva

Feb 27, 2009, 01:00 AM ET
Rebecca Rand Kirshner Sinclair is taking a permanent residence in the 90210 ZIP code.

On the heels of the freshman CW show's renewal, Sinclair has inked a new seven-figure deal with "90210" producer CBS Par and has been tapped to serve as executive producer/showrunner on the high school drama for the next two seasons.

Sinclair joined "90210" as an exec producer in September, when she inked a two-year overall deal with CBS Par.

Under the pact, she was to run the writers room this season, working alongside exec producers/showrunners Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah, then segue into development while serving as a consultant if "90210" returned for a sophomore year.

With her new deal, Sinclair has been given the show's reins through the 2010-11 season.

Sachs and Judah likely will depart at the end of this season.

At the studio and network, Sinclair had emerged as the clear choice to run the show because she is credited with elevating "90210" creatively since coming aboard. But she said the decision to stay on was not easy.

"I wasn't even considering it until almost a month ago," Sinclair said. "I was sure that absolutely, positively there was no way back."

Sinclair came to "90210" as a big fan of the original. She was the same age as the class from the Fox series. She cut her bangs the same way as Brenda (Shannen Doherty) and even went to her prom in the same dress Brenda and Kelly (Jennie Garth) wore to theirs.

But Sinclair admits her early experience on the CW series was rocky.

"I felt the show was confused and too cynical for me," she said.

But something happened around the making of Episode 17, which will mark the show's return to originals March 31, in its new 9 p.m. Tuesday slot.

"I started to see my voice," Sinclair said. "I found myself invested in the potential of the show. I want to change it; I want to make it good. It has the potential to be an iconic, modern, stylish teen drama."

Like the CW's East Coast fashion trend-setter "Gossip Girl," "90210" will tap much deeper into California style and fashion next season, according to Sinclair.

While she hinted that the season finale will feature surprise visits from "Beverly Hills, 90210" alums, don't expect a lot of that next season.

While the character of Kelly is organic to "90210's" setting and Sinclair admits she loves Tori Spelling's Donna, who will appear later this season, "the goal is for this show to emerge on its own," she said. "It's time to take off the training wheels and let this show ride by itself."

As for the show's core cast, producers are figuring out whether all of the characters will come back, the UTA-repped Sinclair said.

If Bethany Joy joined the cast of "2 Guys, 1 Tranny and Mexican Bar and Grill", I'd force myself to sit through all 13 first season episodes (plus the last 4 that went straight to DVD).

Also, more Skills is always a good thing. Oh, and did I mention no more Peyton?

I bet Sophia Bush will be happy if she comes back for season seven, She won't have to talk to her asshat exhusband ever again.

Even though Chad and Hilarie aren't returning as series regulars, it would not surprise at all if they come back for a few guest spots next season.

Heck, I know Hilarie lives in North Carolina, where the show is filmed and is married to one of the production staff (Ian Prange) from the show.

Re: CW Renews 90210, Smallville and More

I've been picking off Smallville episodes from my DVR. I'm really enjoying the Lois-Clark interplay and not having Lana around, so I guess I'd stick around for another season if I thought it was going somewhere. I just saw the one where Ollie walked in on them at the jewelry store.

Glad to see Smallville picked up again for another season. Yeah its getting a bit stale but I'd rather watch that hour of tv than other things.

Personally I'm happy to see Chad Michael Murray leaving, his character has been more or less a dead fish since last season. Hilary Burton on the other hand I'm sorry to see go. If Sophia Bush leaves I don't see a point in continuing the show unless they go into "the next generation"...
