Well, I'm a week late, but I thought this ep was pretty good.
It started off pretty cheesy, but maybe that's just my normal reaction to criticize Heroes since it started going downhill. What, did all of those ninjas with guns sneak in through the open bathroom window? C'mon now.
But after that, the show actually went somewhere and covered a lot of plot. In Season 1, it would've taken a month's worth of episodes to gather all the heroes up (I swear, for all the praise it gets, the first half of that season really, really drags). They do it all in one episode, they establish the new status quo, and there are no gigantic leaps of logic yet (I think the staff thing was intentional... the first time it happened, I thought it was a mistake, but they did it so much...). There's one major plot thread, most of the major protagonists are involved and now together, and they turned Mohinder into someone who doesn't annoy me the minute he gets on the screen (I'm waiting for them to do the same with Claire). Peter has guts again.
