Photobucket

Synopsis:

Spoiler:

Months after explosions brought down Pinehearst and Primatech, our Heroes try to put the past behind them and begin new lives. Now powerless, Hiro (Masi Oka) tries to train a reluctant Ando (James Kyson Lee) to be a true superhero. Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) returns to life as a taxi driver, Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) is back to saving lives, and Daphne (guest star Brea Grant) and Matt (Greg Grunberg) try to live as a normal couple. Claire's (Hayden Panettiere) attempt to live a regular life is cut short when she uncovers a deadly plot orchestrated by Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) to track down and capture those with abilities. Meanwhile, Sylar (Zachary Quinto) begins the search for his real parents. Jack Coleman, Ali Larter and Cristine Rose also star. Ntare Mwine guest stars.

This new volume is 13 episodes and will conclude on April 27th.

Okay is Hayden Pannetiere wearing a wig? Her hair has looked fake this entire season.

Other than that, I'm kind of looking forward to this new volume. It's going to get killed by 24 in the ratings though.

I'm not positive, but IIRC there were about 18 done when Fuller came back on...so that would be about 5 episodes of the 'old regime.'

A quick glance at tvrage shows that tonight's episode was written by Tim Kring.

I still have the finale from the last chapter to get through. It was a struggle to watch the 3 before that, but I haven't given up yet.

Hoping the return of Fuller makes it all worth it. Kring writing tonight's is good news too.

I think it was up to episodes 20 or 21 that the old crew left and Fuller stepped in. If you read the gossip columns, it looks like a female star wants out of her contract because of lack of screen time this season. Any guesses who (its obvious)

Hopefully it's Ali Larter. I like her as an actress, but she was not needed past season 1. Let her move on.

That's fantastic news. Can't stand her on the show.

I noticed in all those "jump the shark" ads last night Ali wasn't in any of them.

so I just want to double check - there are still 2-3 more episodes to go before the "reboot"?

I'm not going to bother watching something from the "old" plot - I will give it a 3rd chance when Fuller comes back on.

Already in this thread the numbers range from episode 18 to 21. Take away the 13 we already show, that's anywhere from 5-8 before the reboot.

This new volume is already technically the "re-boot" why the hell would you want to wait 2-3 episodes into what is already a serialized show?

Seems like they're going back to Season One's roots. Giving everybody a normal life again.

Heroes is slated to have a 25 episode season, meaning Fuller would only be present for the final five episodes – time to help craft the very end of the season, but not have much of an impact on the overall season
So officially episode 21...but he may have helped in the editing process for 18-20.

The fall episodes really lost me. And I even enjoyed season 2!

I'll stick with it for a little longer and see where it goes, but I don't have a lot of hope.

Ok I found a thread (that I posted - duh) that confirms he is back in episode 19 - and talks about the reboot

OK, so just to clear it up for those who want to know. Tonight's episode is #14. Fuller comes back in #19, so we have 5 episodes to endure. And then we may have 8 good episodes following.

PS Thanks for the heads-up that this is against 24--that's a conflict on my TiVo I didn't know about. Heh, I agree that 24 will likely trample all over this. The audience is similar and we're already vested in 24.

Same here, I decided I'll finish this volume and if it isn't noticeably better (like Season 1) then I'm jumping ship. I don't even really WANT to watch the show anymore, it feels like more of a chore to sit through, as if I have to watch it.

Hopefully things will change soon.

We have a DVR conflict tonight and had to choose between Heroes and The Bachelor. We chose The Bachelor. That is how indifferent we have become to this show over the last 2 seasons. If I can watch it on the NBC site, I probably will. If not, I'm probably not gonna miss it much.

It will be on Hulu and NBC.com if you choose to watch it.

Thank God Mohinder managed to catch Peter, since he doesn't have any kind of flying ability.

My thought exactly... unless it wears off, or he loses it when he absorbs another power.

Tonight's ep was a good start to this story, but I thought the President would get some face time in this. I was wrong.

Gotta love Ando's super suit. Hiro is such a perv.

Also, did I miss a change in how Peter's ability works? He shouldn't have had to touch Mohinder to get his power.
