No. They gave rifle girl's name as Ellie. There's been two Eloise's mentioned before (one last season, one in Season Three -- and reconfirmed in the expanded repeat tonight) and it's no coincidence that name is converging around one person on the island.

Enjoyed it. Hyped a bit too much, however.

Re: Lost -- "Jughead" -- 1/28/09

So that pretty much explains all the concrete in the Swan I would think.

I watched the entire episode and have no clue how many times I was totally confused. I LOVE THIS SHOW.

A perfect episode doing what Lost does best. It answered one or two questions and gave us a bunch of new ones.

So next week, they're finally at a time where they can run into themselves. Should be interesting.

My Alpert goes to visit Locke theory was correct!

So are we to guess that the Swan station was built on top of the bomb? Remember the concrete Sayid was amazed at in S2?

Ahhh! Charlotte! I'm in love with you too, don't die!

This new season is more than I could have asked for in this show. It just keeps building and building.

Waaaaaaaaaaaay overhyped episode. If you followed the hype, you'd be supremely disappointed.

I like how the kid's name is Charlie.

I'm sure we will. It looks like Ben hadn't aged since the time he actually joined "The Others". He did age from his childhood up until he turned his back on Dharma and his father but since then he has lookedthe same. Unless the makeup department didn't want to make him look younger for the scene with his father in the van.

I thought it was obvious what Des's boy's name would be. Called it as soon as the doc revealed it was a boy. So when they did the big reveal my wife was sure I read it online beforehand.

Depends on what you're talking about. I theorized that Widmore was the leader of the Others prior to Ben. No proof in this episode that he's their leader or being groomed to be so.

As for the rest of the episode, it needs to sink in. Why is Charlotte sick & or dying. I would assume all the 'native others' don't age, while anyone brought in from the outside world do.

I think the episode lived up to its billing. However, for an island that is supposedly hard to find they have had a shitload of visitors in the last 50 years or so.

Yeah, good ep, but not one of the best.

I don't think Widmore could have been killed unless Locke is special like Desmond. That reveal was a complete surprise to me.

Wow - another great episode, even though it was slow-moving at times. Refreshing to get away from the Oceanic 6 for once - they are way overrated compared to the island folk.

RIP, Charlotte - we hardly knew thee.

I just realized that before I came in this thread! They have to be the same.

I really hope it doesn't turn out that the Losties are responsible for everything strange that's happened.

Locke killed the other soldier at the end of the last episode. Also, Alpert will go looking for Locke via direct information from future Locke.

I'm not sold on the "can't change anything" line yet.
