I loved the banter as Andy had Dwight pinned against the wall. Especially Andy calling Dwight a Sasquatch and Dwight's response that's it's the strongest creature.

I loved the Oscar/Dwight exchange. "Where?" "Where?" "I think you already know where."

Re: The Office - "Duel" - 1/15/09

I don't see why so many seem to think this is the end of the storyline.

Trust me, it's not over.

Someone mentioned that Andy lied to Dwight, and that's very possible. Or maybe he's like Dwight used to be with not even knowing anything about sex, and he "thinks" they've had sex, but they really haven't. Sure, it's a stretch, but I could see them pulling that. Dwight tells Angela why he's upset, and her new mission is to prove to Dwight that she never did Andy, while Andy swears they did.

This is The Office, there's no telling what they will do, heh.

That was great. The best part was at the very end, just the way that Oscar covered his mouth, disgusted.

Agreed that was a great line...because I spent the next 30 seconds trying to figure out what they could have done instead.

I'm not sure why anyone would think Angela would need to be written off. She's a terrible person and always has been. That's what we like about her, I'd imagine (I know it's why I like her).

I thought the episode was very funny.

I don't think he was lying.

I think the first time is after Dwight tricks Angela into marrying him. She's disgusted with Dwight, returns to the office, makes out with Andy and they leave together in a huff.

And then I would imagine she had some guilt sex after the Christmas party.

I enjoyed this one. I do hope Angela sticks around (and I think she will). Perhaps it will be a bit of a reversal with her trying to win Dwight back. Maybe we see some more 'Dwight is a stud' moments because she's after him. That could make for some good humor.

Also, as with most episodes, we need more Creed.

Oh, and when Meredith claimed the loser after Angela declared she would go with the winner of the duel was great also.

Ausiello has interesting casting news:

Spoiler:
Greg Daniels, the big boss behind The Office, just confirmed for me exclusively the best news ever: Amy Ryan will be reprising her spectacularly popular role as Holly Flax, soul mate to Steve Carrel's Michael.

"She will come back," says Daniels. "We haven't written it yet, but we're discussing her coming back for the season finale. We're hoping she'll be available."

Daniels went on to say that he's "very open" to working out a more permanent Office arrangement with Ryan. "Because [Michael and Holly] have such a deep connection, I don't think she can blow in and out every so often," he explains. "It would be too hard for him as a human being. So, we're hoping to find some very significant things for them. And if we can get her to sign on for a really long period, we'll do it."

This episode had a couple good one liners, but it wasn't THAT funny!

Mediocre episode at best. There have been funnier.

Not surprising about
Spoiler:
Amy Ryan. I've long contended that she will probably return in the finale pregnant, mirroring the Jan stuff, but it will be Michael's child this time, and then she'll be back on the permanent.

This and the other announcement help ease the pain of The Wire coming to an end.

Spoiler:
I loved Amy Ryan's character when she was around so I'm pumped to have her back. However, having Michael be a father and having it be the plot of season 6 (as well as Jim and Pam married) is serious jump the shark material IMO. If that is indeed the case I think it would take some very clever writing to pull that off and stay funny.

Meredith had some great lines:

Meredith: "The last time I had two guys fight over me, it was over who got to hold the camera"

Response to Andy after thanking everyone for lying to his face by not telling him about about Dwight and Angela

Creed: "You're welcome"

Re: The Office - "Duel" - 1/15/09

I was a huge huge fan of this episode, laughing out loud (LOLing, if you will) during many parts.

I loved when Jim was outside and they were doing a close-up of the pained look on his face as Andy has Dwight pinned against the bushes and they are yelling back and forth off-camera.

Also loved the "Are your legs broken?!?" "No, but my left leg is starting to fall asleep." exchange.

She's a repulsive hag, both in her constipated appearance and despicable personality. I would not miss her. I don't find anything surrounding her funny, just irritating.

It was even funnier when his voice was breaking during the 3rd 'Where Dwight?'

Re: The Office - "Duel" - 1/15/09

"What weapon will you use"
"My hands"
"That's stupid. I'll use my sword to cut off your hands."

and then all the weapons around the office. Yeah, it was over the top, but I like these kinds of episodes.
Andy's brilliant tactic with the note, the empty parking spaces, and ninja Prius

Also liked:
Michael not understanding Jim trying to hush him early on
All the "false starts" with everyone thinking that finally Andy will find it out
Michael taking the cowards way out in telling Andy while driving off
Michael pretty much telling Wallace that his management tactic is to stay out of the way, and Wallace having to listen due to the numbers

I also think that this current resolution was the best way to resolve this (for now) without dragging it out too long. I thought for sure they'd make it to the wedding and something would happen.

Of course, part of the reason why I may have found it funny was I'm going through last season's DVDs, and just watched the ridiculous GPS-to-the-lake episode...
