Yeah, WTF? It cut out right when Sylar said how it was a relief to not have powers anymore.

I love the concept of the show but there really is no set plan of what outline the show should follow.
Ironically, they had Seth Green on, who played a character in a movie that said the exact same thing!

I haven't watched this episode yet. So, did it run 2-3 minutes over?

Elle - "We can't take what we want anymore."

Sylar - "Says who?"

Sylar kisses Elle.

The camera pulls out of the house through the window, we see HRG behind a sniper rifle about to take out Sylar and/or Elle once and for all in their weakened state, with them in his crosshairs.

To Be Continued.

Sylar was between him and the gun, Claire was hurt and what's her name was still in the picture. I think he probably made the right move getting out.

No need to spoiler what aired in the episode.

Anyway, WTF HRG. You have a gun, in the house, with both incapacitated. Shoot them in the head and walk away.

What are you, a Bond villain?

I mostly enjoyed this episode. Might be interesting to see some of these character deal with being powerless. I, for one, was getting confused as to who could do what exactly... especially Arthur.

I could do without the Haitian revolution subplot. I hope that doesn't drag on too much.

Can someone tell me exactly what Parkman was supposed to be saving Daphne from? Hiro mentioned that a couple of times and I couldn't figure out why she needed saving.

I've given up .... considering this a sci-fi show, that is.

It has officially become one of my favorite comedies, filled with dialogue that makes me chuckle.

As a sign of things to come, what could be better than Hiro's "THE CORN WILL KEEP ON COMING!

And as a clue to the minds of the writers, what sums it up better than Silar's pronouncement near the end of the episode: "IT MAKES NO SENSE"!

Funny stuff!!

I have been happy with recent episodes. But, I think I'm going to hate this Haitian subplot.

Did anyone else cringe when Suresh pulled up Maya's picture? Please don't bring her back.

IIRC, Maya told Suresh to find her when he was normal...so he was going to leave. Stupid Aurthur prevented that.

Same here, I had actually made some cabling changes on my tv the day before, and then saw Heroes last night and thought I screwed something up. So I went and hooked it up the same was as before, and saw it still looked crappy, so decided it wasn't me that did it.

I criticize the show because I am disappointed in the direction it is headed, but I feel compelled to see if it will start to make some logical sense. Unfortunately the more episodes that air, the less I see that as a possibility of happening. I was a huge fan in season one. The show had an air of mystery, danger, and fun. It wasn't greatly written, but you enjoyed the characters, and the story was at least interesting.

Now, I just don't know what they are thinking. I don't understand people who say "ignore the lack of logic." I can do that only to a point before it starts to get too ridiculous to ignore. I just cannot escape the impression that the writers have decided that they don't care whether storylines make sense or follow their own logic, they just try to write whatever they feel will have the most visceral impact, and often it doesn't follow through.

I get the feeling that Kring knows where he wants the show to end up, and forgets that the journey there has to be interesting as well.

Sadly, I can't stop watching the show though because I need to know where they are taking this, even though it feels like I'm headed for a trainwreck of disappointment.

It has already been a train wreck of disappointment. The characters were all confused last night and walking around dumb founded. That makes two of us, the characters and the viewers.
There was no tension or interesting character development, it's as if a 10 year old is writing this show and trying to figure it out as they go.
The dialogue was beyond atrocious.

And so it goes. Some people keep watching the show, hating every moment of it, bashing it (and the people who like it, as if to say they aren't bright enough to see the shows "faults"), and then doing it all over again.

Please give it a rest.

Hey Robo,

Because I didnt like the episode and the where the show is headed doesnt mean that I am bashing it. I am offering my opinion and since viewership goes down almost every week, I am guessing this is a general consensus.

I don't hate every moment of it. I feel like there is some potential there. I still enjoy HRG and the Haitian. In fact, I wish they would pair those two up again. My frustration comes as they snuff the remaining light from the show. Decide what Sylar is already. He changes scene to scene.

This isn't a comic book even if it is "inspired" by them. Stop bringing people back from the dead. Comic books can do that because they run indefinitely. A show should have a structured story if it's going to be serialized. You don't have 40 years. You're going to have 5 seasons if you're lucky. Actions should have consequences, and I mean for major characters. If you're going to kill someone important off have some balls and make it stick.

Stop introducing characters with no payoff, resolution or point. You have plenty of strong characters to work with. If you want to bring on 10 new people, kill off some old ones. Don't you think Suresh's turn would have been more powerful if he had killed Maya. No, she goes away, promising to come back and annoy viewers once more. And for what? Why is she there?

Basically, have some fucking balls. HRG should have executed either Sylar, Elle, or both. If you aren't willing to go in that direction, don't put a gun in his hand. We have already established he has no qualms killing people in his way. That is why Claire bleeding out and HRG having a sniper rifle pointed at Sylar and Elle means absolutely nothing. They won't die. And if they do, it's only until the next week. Make people believe that important shit can happen that won't be reset by Claire's blood or time travel.

Think the reason Parkman had to go see Daphne was to gain an understanding of why she was working with Arthur in the first place. If Arthur threatened to take her speedster power away she would be forced to live a life on the crutches and barely able to get around at all. I certainly cant blame her for fearing Arthur.

I guess I'm lucky, in that I have no such preconceptions. I'm not trying to define the parameters of the "Heroes universe" to match my expectations of what could, should, or would happen. I'm just letting the story unfold, and finding it quite enjoyable.

Wow, talk about Mr. Hyprocrite - still remember your little freak out about Battlestar Galactica awhile back? A certain someone who kept threatening to not watch and then posting about it a few weeks later?

Nice of you to get on you high horse there.

This is my biggest problem. I can check my brain at the door and ignore re-writing history. I have a harder time caring about characters that seem to change their minds with the drop of a hat and I would prefer that actions have real consequences.

I thought the Kansas farmhouse was the same one from the "Home" episode of the X-Files (Vancouver), but those mountains in the background valley scream just north of Los Angeles county, which makes me wonder why they couldn't paint the mountains out digitally (Smallville's the worst offender) as Kansas has no mountains.

How does Elle keep pulling her 180s? How did Arthur not sense her duplicity?
