I don't get why people want to see the Simpsons get canceled. While i agree that they aren't as good as 10 years ago, most of the new episodes are way better than most of the shows FOX greenlights, all the reality crap out there and the other animated shows in the network. I prefer 20 more years of the Simpsons than one more year of American Dad or Who is Smarter than a 5th Grader.

BLASPHEMY!!! DEATH TO THE NON-BELIEVER!!!

I kid, of course, but I don't understand why you would hope and pray for a show that so many people still love to end? I mean, if you really dislike it that much...just don't watch it.

If you really need a King of the Hill fix, rent or buy the DVD's or watch FX.
How much did Judge back off? He still voices Hank and Boomhauer.

By the way, for those who didn't know, the kinky Marcy Runkle on Californication is, in fact, Bobby Hill. Worth checking out.

Already knew that from when she was on Lucky Louie... Pamela Adlon does a great job with Bobby Hill...

Judge must only be providing voices as he is working on a new program... and I did unfortunately read that there will be no real sendoff episode for KOTH... come on, 13 years, Id like some closure

It's a tired show and should be put down. That's my opinion.

Bite me fanboy. Don't like my posts....don't read 'em. And I don't watch it. I think I stopped back in 1991. But hey, shows I love get canceled all the time so why should Simpsons fanboys escape the same fate? The answer is....they shouldn't!!!

Yet Fox still boasts of it's "ANIMATION DOMINATION" line up on Sunday night. So what are they going to replace KOTH with? Simpsons reruns?

I guess I don't understand all of the hate for American Dad, its by far a lot funnier than Family Guy.

I think Fox was working on a Family Guy spinoff called Cleveland with bears. No clue if they are going forward with that.

Great run for this show...I did not watch religiously, but would watch if I caught it while channel surfing.

I've read a few different articles. Some say this is the last season. Others say the recently ordered 13 episodes will air during the 2009-2010 season. Does anyone know how many episodes are left? I'm assuming it's whatever their original order was plus the order for 13 more.

I think the show should end with Luanne having her baby. Not that I care that much about Lucky and Luanne I just think it would make a good finale.

With a proper send off, I won't mind. It's had a good run, and I'm surprised it's been on as long as it has.

It just means I'm less likely to watch FOX Sunday nights, as I don't care for the McFarlane crap.

You and I are in the minority. I've been pounding the pavement and shouting from the rooftops that "American Dad!" is a hundred better than "Family Guy"--it's better written and a hell of a lot FUNNIER.

It's fashionable for people to slam McFarlane for the reliance on cut-away gags on "FG", but "AD" proves that he *can* do a very funny show without it.

Long live "American Dad!"

It is. I've stopped in to catch a few minutes of eps over the years and it still sucked.

Back on topic, King of the Hill will be missed.

Love Simpsons. Newer stuff is still something, not great, but has it's moments.

Really enjoy King of the Hill. It's a different type of show which is why I liked it, but so long as it gets a good last episode I'd be happy.

Family Guy has been crap since 2005. Sans for an episode or two this season (and Meet the Quagmires from 2006), it hasn't been remotely close to "classic" FG. Eh.

Don't like American Dad. Never have.

And for those wishing Simpsons would be canceled will be disappointed in hearing it's been renewed for at least another 3 years.

[/Kahn Souphanousinphone]

We haven't watched in years, but my wife and I will still throw out a KOTH line in conversation once in a while.

"So are you Chinese or Japanese?" haha

Always been one of my favorite shows, being from Texas makes a lot the references that much funnier, I personally know so many people in real life who are exactly like the characters.
