Pretty weak episode. The skits just aren't funny. The fartface gag got old real quick. I got what they were going for, it just didn't work. I'm glad they didn't hold back on the Palin insults just because she was there. God how I hope to never have to see her again after Nov 4th.

That was right after she got clubbed in the kneecaps. That was a huge story.

They are about the only thing I have any interest in watching on SNL. The rest is shit.

This sketch really suffered from the excessive cue card reading.

And how weird was that taped sketch with Bill Hader doing an MTV piece on Armisen as some musician? Maybe it'll build into something . . . ?
It might not be as extreme a minority as you think.

As much as I hate this show, I can't help but feel that Will Forte is one of the funniest underdeveloped talents working today.

The dancing Todd was great, too. That put me over the edge.

And Amy Poehler is a goddess. She just freaking goes all out. Love it.

No it wasn't. It was a month after she lost the gold to Oksana and a few days after talking shit to Mickey Mouse.

Here in Vegas it got preempted to let us know a kidnapped boy was found. I was glad to hear that, but I think a scroll at the bottom would have sufficed rather than a live feed from an empty bus stop. Glad to hear I didn't miss anything.

Loved that Pohler rap. Actually fell off the couch laughing. Literally.

I thought as a concept, Narc School was hilarious. They just didn't do a good job with it.

I think Brolin did a fine job. I never heard of Adele but I really liked her first song. She seems to be a cross of Duffy and Amy Winehouse.

Loved the Suze Orman skit. The last lines about loving Dick and Master Pussies had me rolling with laughter. The crazy woman at the Japanese restaurant was pretty good too.

What was up with Sanberg (sp) looking at cue cards in his scene with Walhburg? It's not like he had a lot of work this week.

Those MacGruber skits are tired. Damn, put it to rest! I hate to admit I laughed when Forte shot a ping pong out of ass...

Palin...I never heard her speak until now but I have to say Tina's impression of her voice is pretty spot-on. Strange accent.

Everything went downhill after. Fartface, Narc School, etc.

at Brolin's Anton Chigurh wig in the MacGruber segment. One of the only ones on the show right now I find funny.

But that's how I roll.

I hope the 2 A holes never return.

I like Forte and you can shoot me but I though the Brothers Solomon that movie he did with Will Arnett was hilarious.

I thought the Brolin wig was funny but nobody in the NY audience laughed at Brolin in the Macgruber sketches.

They say Amy will leave shorty after the election but she deserves to go out with a bang and appear in all of the sketches in her final show to piss off the Poehler haters and they should do a best of Amy Poehler show the week before her final show

off the subject but will Dana Carvey, Mike Myers, Chris Rock, Sandler etc ever return to host the show?

it has been a while since any of the early 90s cast members have hosted the show.

I really enjoyed the musical guest. I don't really follow pop music these days so I hadn't heard of her.

Sandler and Myers will probably never host the show, as their re-appearances thus far have only been cameos. Carvey seems content to work the stand-up and convention circuit now.

Ironically, the worst SNL host I have ever seen.

I'm really going to miss Amy, she's been part of the show for so long and I enjoyed her at the WU desk.

Goes to show you kids, all you have to do to host one of the biggest shows in television history is get rocked in the knee with a metal club.

What bothers me now is that they knew Palin was going to be on the show but they still turned out shit skits. You would think the SNL people would work overtime to make sure they had their best sketches for a such a big show. Maybe SNL didn't realize that Palin was going to on till it was too late? Or maybe they thought the sketches were good?

Pohler sucks, or at least on snl she does. i haven't laughed ar anything she's done since leaving Upright Citizens Brigade. thankfully she's planning a new show of her own so hopefully she'll leave the lame tina Fey material behind for good and go back to being funny.

I had such low expectations for that movie because of how its release was handled and the general bad reviews it got. Of course, I saw it anyway and found it outrageously funny.

How great is Forte's celebration in the movie
Spoiler:
when he busts out the air horn after rummaging through some champagne bottles?

I couldn't stop laughing and had to immediately stop, rewind, and rewatch three times before I could go on. Something I've never done before. Starting to laugh just thinking about it now.

Sometimes stupid comedies just hit the spot. I thought that Brothers Solomon was pretty funny as well.
