Lost or NCIS. I don't watch a single show on that list.

Of those currently airing, Chuck and The Shield top my list. And LOST goes to the top when it comes back next year.

Supernatural - no show currently on the air entertains me nearly as much, let alone so consistently.

It's a toss up between Prison Break and Supernatural. Also think True Blood and Chuck should have made the list.

Mad Men is up there with some of the best television ever created; substantive, nuanced and above all, entertaining. It's easily head and shoulders above anything on TV right now.

Yeah, that's why I went for the Unit. Once Lost is back, everything else drops a notch.

Friday Night Lights.

And yes, it's on tv right now. Maybe not your tv, but it's on mine!

I would give Mad Men a close second.

I'm surprised so many people are saying Supernatural. I watched the first 3 episodes. It wasn't bad, but not the greatest show on tv. Should I give it another go?

That poll is absurd without the Office and 30 Rock as options.

I hit other because I was going to say Lost and Battlestar Galactica but I guess they are not on "right now" but they're still current shows so I felt they counted. As far as right now I'll go with Supernatural and It's Always Sunny for pure enjoyment.

The Office, The Amazing Race, Survivor, Samantha Who?, Dirty Sexy Money, Terminator, Battlestar Galactica, 30 Days, Lost, 24...why aren't any of these up there?

My Top 10:

1. Mad Men
2. The Shield
3. Friday Night Lights
4. Dexter
5. The Office
6. Pushing Daisies
7. It's Always Sunny
8. Life
9. Prison Break
10. Chuck

(I didn't put Lost, 30 Rock, Burn Notice, or BSG on because they're not "on right now," and I didn't put on Supernatural because I haven't fully caught up on it yet.)

Yes you should.
I felt the same way as you and until halfway through season 1 (yes that long), then something happened and it's been getting better ever since.

Prison Break and True Blood even being mentioned in this thread

I admit that the last two seasons were not great (the last season in particular; I even gave up on it but decided to catch up on it over the summer), but this season has been great so far. If you're judging the show based on the last season, you should give it another shot, but that's just my opinion.

I'll go with The Unit until Lost is back.

The Shield is good but not great this season. I'm enjoying Californication quite a bit too.
