I'm not really sure why we're doing a best of 2008-2009 when none of the best shows on TV have even started airing yet. The only show currently airing that I really love is One Tree Hill. The best show of last year was Breaking Bad.

I stuck with it longer than you. I lasted until season 2, but everything started to get really old for me. I've always meant to go back but never have. With all the responses here, I might try again to catch up.

Considering we are only 4-6 episodes into the new TV season, I think this is a very tough call. Some shows are only 2-3 episodes into their seasons.

I would probably say The Shield and Supernatural along with Prison Break have been consistently good.

Life is my favorite right now, followed closely by The Office, Pushing Daisies, Dexter, Fringe, Supernatural, Mad Men, Chuck, 30 Rock and True Blood in completely random order.

Until Damages returns.....

I'm in love with Pushing Daisies. It's quirky, snarky, and smart. Plus the show's color palette is remarkable.
