This show is disappointing on SO many levels, but I will continue to watch it with the hope that it improves.
As an aside, I don't want Michael and KITT to EVER show up (as has been discussed by nerds everywhere). God knows how those characters would be treated. They'd probably say that KITT's original body had been damaged or lost in storage or something ridiculous and they had to replace it with some random FORD model that the company's having a hard time selling. <Cue a 10-minute scene/commercial of the "awesome" new car>

Knight Rider (80's) used a Pontiac Trans Am
Knight Rider 2000 used a Pontiac prototype model
Team Knight Rider used Ford cars and truck
Knight Rider (2008) are using Fords.
At least the new KR is better than this one:
