Did anyone watch? The whole thing kind of skeeved me out. The 70's look, the creepy glances the characters gave each other. I'll take a pass.

Watched it this morning after I watched Fear Itself. I read in EW that this was shopped around to HBO and Showtime before CBS took the bite. I does have the feel of a show made for HBO, but it feels watered down. Not to say that it's bad, I like it for what it was, but I don't see it lasting past the summer. The thing that I didn't like was that there was no build up for Bruce and Susan. They gave in right away to what was going on. I would have liked there to have been some build up to this and not having it happen right away. I did like how they are going to deal with Roger and Janet, and that they are going from shock to intriged about swinging also.

I liked the cheesy 70s look of everything, but I can see it going down the "Desperate Housewives" path. We had storms last night so the last 15 minutes was pre-empted with weather coverage. From the previews, I can guess what happened right after Bruce and Susan went into the swinger party but can someone fill in the details? (spoilerized for those who might have recorded it.)

Spoiler:
It was funny to watch this show with Bruce and Susan being about the age of my parents in 1976 -- I was five at the time -- and to think about the new house that we moved into circa 1975. I imagine there were some "kinky" things that happened in our neighborhood but I am pretty sure we did not have a "predatory" swinger couple keeping a lookout for new neighbors.

I haven't watched it yet, looking forward to it.
Heard it did well in the ratings last night.

I really liked this, but I'm a sucker for time-period pieces. Good music but they really shove it down your throat. I really like this cast. Grant Show looks like he was born to play a 70s swinger. Lana Parilla. Weird to hear Jack Davenport talk American-English and that hair.

Thought it was pretty cool but agree with the poster who said that there should of been a little more build up. Its seems like Bruce and Susan gave in rather quickly. But a show like this i believe would of been better on another network, preferably HBO. Would love to see some ass cheeks in there somewhere, some boobies!!!

Yeah, this show was definitely made for pay cable. Then parts of it don't have to be imagined but there's plenty of stuff here I wouldn't expect to see on network TV. Lots of drug use (casually accepted) too.
A blow job, a three-way, and Tab in the first 5 minutes! What's not to love? I'm putting it on a season pass.
I could do without the kids. They had their own show on Fox. Yeah, they crammed the music down our throats. I still love the 70's look though.

I planned on watching this but completely spaced on it. Somehow I managed to record Fear Itself but didn't even noticed that this was airing at the same time. Guess I must take to the Web to see it ...

I didn't....til now.
Frankly, I wish they would ditch all the teen storylines (and the teens themselves), particularly her crush on the teacher.
