It's been dropping in viewership since the pilot and hovering around 4-5million. It is on during the summer though and it is #1 or #2 with the critical 18-49 range.

Yeah - I didn't know what the numbers were. That's not terribly impressive.
I'm surprised CBS even bothered airing this instead of reruns of their procedurals if there was never really any intention that there could be more down the line.

I distinctly remember some joints. Kind of ironic the networks don't show people smoking much but have no problem letting characters do illegal stuff. I don't do either. Just an observation.

In what could be read as a positive sign for "Flashpoint" and an ill-omen for "Swingtown," CBS has swapped the time slots for the summer dramas.
CBS announced on Tuesday (July 22) that, effective immediately, "Flashpoint" will take the Thursday 10 p.m. ET hour after "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," while "Swingtown" will shuffle off to Friday nights at 10 p.m.

I hope it gets to finish the run of 13 episodes. It would be good if another outlet picked it up. It gets small ratings for a major broadcast network, but much more than the average cable show. It might also do well on cable since they wouldn't have the restrictions of CBS.

The kiss of death for this show. I love it and have been watching it all summer and by moving it must mean that CBS has no faith it in. I heard that the ratting for it's Thursday night slot were doing good and I was hoping that CBS would pick it up for mid season or another summer run. Seems that CBS has more faith in Flashpoint, a show that has got less that stellar reviews.

Check out my sig.
