I wonder if Ryan is party to playing with the finances in other ways. Doesn't he make a reference to his Tokienesque friend being a "wizard with numbers" or something like that?

Also Toby has shown himself to be kind of an ass at times regarding the Pam thing. It was nice when he was just the lovable loser, and you felt happy for him during the wedding episode. But he's been sort of petty and vindictive at times towards Jim. Teaming up with Ryan like that was the latest example.
Also I was almost sure that the "ending scene" was going to be a construction worker during the weekend filling in Michael's face hole. Would have been perfect.

I didn't really see it as Toby teaming up against Jim. I think Ryan went there specifically to warn Jim, but knew he needed Toby there to make it official. Toby, who is kind of spineless, just went along with it. Later they just made a joke about his jealousy towards Jim about Pam. I don't know if he teamed up out of spite. Toby seemed uncomfortable during the meeting like he actually felt Ryan's warning was inappropriate.
I also thought Jim's expressions during that scene were perfect. The uncomfortable laugh followed by the awkward expression were great. You really felt uncomfortable.

Jenna Fischer's MySpace page spells the character's last name "Beesley." In her MySpace blog, Fischer confirmed that the correct spelling is "Beesly." In a deleted scene for "Conflict Resolution," however, Pam's security pass reads "Beesley". In addition, in Season 1, a message appears on Kevin Malone's computer that states "From the desk of Pam Beasly." Also, in "Sexual Harassment," a shot of Kevin's computer screen reveals e-mails from "Pam Beasly." During the art show in the Season 3 episode "Business School," the nameplate at her exhibition reads "Pam Beesly." The NBC website also spells her surname as Beesly.
I seem to recall Jenna mentioning that when she started her myspace page that there was still some back and forth with the writers on the spelling.

The hoodies were made by Jenna -- we can only speculate on the makers of their jeans.

For some insight by the writers of this episode on Toby's actions/attitude, read the first question on the following link:

There are actually 4 pages worth of questions that the writers respond to...

That's how I see it: Oscar's gay, so 2 male symbols = "a man who lays with a man."
Apparently Kevin is Irish and Toby may or may not be Jewish!
Are the half-red circles by the women's names Dwight's attempts to chart their "cycles?"

Sitcom replaces USA shows 'Monk' and 'Psych'
By MICHAEL SCHNEIDER
Tribeca Film Festival Coverage NBC is yanking repurposed episodes of USA Network skeins "Monk" and "Psych" off the air immediately.
For now, Peacock will replace the Sunday night two-hour block with four back-to-back repeats of "The Office."
Net's experiment with "Monk" and "Psych" segs didn't resonate with viewers; shows placed fourth in the adults 18-49 demo again this Sunday, prompting the schedule shift.
Sunday's other network repurpose attempt, CBS' recut editions of Showtime's "Dexter," ended its 12-week experiment this past week, as planned.

Finally just caught this, and Bravo to the writers. I (and apparently most in here) completely expected the fluffy fingers when everyone left. But instead Michael showed that he's not a complete moron and the end was brilliantly done, a realistic conclusion to a realistic problem in the workplace.
I think the biggest laugh for me was when Dwight tried the counting down thing on Michael and he just said "no" at the end of it. I think it again highlights what a strong salesman Michael was before becoming a manager and he knows better than to fall for that.

Great episode. I just didn't like that everyone was shocked and appalled by Stanley's (deserved) snap at Michael (Toby wanting Michael to reprimand him) when Michael crosses far, far greater lines than that presumably on a daily basis.
