Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network

The OMAC ep was pretty cool. My man Oded Fehr (The Mummy) did the voice for Equinox. He was the voice Dr. Fate in the JL series. I looked up Equinox and apparently he's Power Girl's SON from the Zero Hour event.

Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network

I enjoyed the MUSICAL episode.
Nice vocals by Neil Patrick Harris and Grey Deslied(Black Canary).
Love all the written DC team names on the "Death Trap" scene.
Plus all the Arkham villians Cameos.
And a HUGE Laugh at Black Manta, Grodd, Clock King, Green Arrow, Aquaman, and Black Canary singing and dancing together.
Gets a solid 'A' from me.

Just got around to watching the musical. I also thought it was pretty good. However, I'm not sure why the other heroes were still under his spell after getting the bat earplugs.

Batman & Green Arrow is the just opener. The real battle is against the yin yang guy that wants everything in balance.

Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network

Friday night will be episode 26 of B&B.
Batman and Dr. Fate rally the heroes against Equinox.
Two-Face will also make an appearance.

The last episode was so-so.
Enjoyed the opener with Bats and Cat flirting with each other.
And Green Arrow's reaction.
Nice to see Catwoman wearing the Purple Dress with the Green Cape.

I just don't like this version of the Teen Titans, err, The Outsiders.
But the Psycho Pirate was a good villian.
Gets only a 'C' from me.

All the stuff that made Black Lightning mad were pretty funny. No wonder he's such an angry dude.

The opener with Batman and Two-Face was Excellent. A+
Always liked the Golden age look of Harvey with the half-green face and green hand.
Half tan suit and other half purple check.

I loved that the team-up in the first part was essentially with the villain.

Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network

B:TB&TB is back this month with new episodes.

Last friday THE CHALLENAGERS of the UNKNOWN appeared in the opener on Dinosaur Island facing off against Starro.
"TO BE CONTINUE" ended the teaser.
B+

In the main story Blue Beetle tries to overcome an Enity called The Reach.
BB attacks OA and the GLC and easily takes them down but Bats is around to talk some sense to Jaime.

I had to take this show off my DVR because CN apparently didn't distinguish between new and old episodes. May try to catch up....

Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network

Last episode opens up with Batman and Enemy Ace soaring through the skies over a WW1 Battlefield.
Batman wearing a Scarf, PRICELESS.

I admit I find this version of Aquaman annoying but this was a FUN and Well Done story.
AQ and family go on a vacation drive through the USA.
AQ promise his family No Superheroing but can't help himself when he sees his fellow heroes in action.
Meanwhile in Gotham City Batman is battling the Penguin and his array of nasty umbrellas.
Also love the superfriends style title cards used before each Aqauman mini-episode.
Over this episode gets a solid 'A' from me.

Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network

Batman and Detective Chimp in a Drawing Room Mystery opens up the last episode.
I admit I was surprise at the reveal of the villian.

Main story feature the JSA: Hawkman, Flash, Dr. Mid-Nite, Wildcat, and Hourman with the original Black Canary making two Flashback appearances.
I enjoyed the flashbacks more then the main story.

Overall a solid episode.

Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network

The BB/Reach ep was pretty good. I love seeing Guy Gardner.

The Aquaman Family Ep was fun. I happen to like this Hammy version of Aquaman. I also like the angry pissed off version from JL:Unlimited.

The JSA ep was awesome. I always get chills when the JSA is around. I was kinda shocked that they showed
Spoiler:
the Original Black Canary's death

Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network

On the last episode Superman and Wonder Woman made a cameo apperance in the teaser.
Robin, Aqualad, and Speedy try to prove their worth against Ra's Al Ghul and Talia's evil scheme
to destory Coast City.
In the end Robin makes a change to become a different Hero.

Feb will have new episodes all month long.

Re: Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network

The Metal Men story was OK. Like seeing them action.
Cute scene between Platium and Batman.

The opener with Aquaman was excellent.
Continues the Starro plot and uses a alien being called the Faceless Warrior who first appeared
back in Strange Adventures during the 50's.

Cool to see Firestorm. I forgot he's not Ronnie Raymond anymore.

Slacker Batman was hilarious.

Ronnie was his coach. So he was still a part of the equation.
