Great news!
Pretty much making Andrea Zuckerman the only one entirely unaccounted for, a spokesperson for the CW's 90210 confirms that Joe E. Tata will reprise his role of Peach Pit diner owner Nat in the pilot episode. Tata, 71, who thus far is only booked for the one guest appearance, tells the AP, "The coin's in the air. I guess it comes under the heading of... 'Let's see if the audience still remembers me.'" |

http://www.buddytv.com/articles/deal...ges/Meghan.jpg I got no problem with this bit of casting, particularly in a vixen role. |

Sadly this is my most anticipated show this fall. |
September 2 is a very early start time. If it gets a full season, they are going to have lots of 2-3 week breaks to make it all the way to May.
Some of my co-workers and friends thinks this looks lame, but I have to say I agree with Gizmo, this is one of the most anticipated shows this fall for me next to Fringe. |
I'm not sure how many episodes the CW greenlit, but if the ratings are good, I can see them extending it to 25 or so (I think they are doing this with Gossip Girl as well). This may be the show that saves the CW....

Its kinda sad that the fate of this show will seriously make or break the CW. Revenue has been considerably lower than the executives thought it would be when the network came into being two years ago. But if the show is a success and it gives the CW the promo/exposure it needs that would be really ironic. Well maybe not ironic, but I do appreciate the fact that the original 90210 (along with the Simpsons) was the show that saved FOX way back in 1990, and that other teen soaps "Dawson's Creek" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" propelled the WB back in 1998. It says something that teen dramas are the shows that save networks. |

I'm just saying that 22 episodes if going to be very hard to stretch until the 1st or 2nd week of May with a September 2 start date, which is very early for a scripted series. |

luckily all of the original 90210 cast need work so it should be cameo city
Id personally like to see Paul Johnasson return with his John Sears character |

The only reason Reaper got picked up was because they couldn't afford another pilot. "Smallville," "Supernatural," and "One Tree Hill" all had to take 25 to 35% budget cuts to return another year.

90210 -- Sept. 2nd!
Anyone else really excited about 90210 premiering on 9/2? I think it's really going to be a great show since they were able to get Jennie Garth, Shannen Doherty and Tori Spelling, PLUS an entire new cast (Rob Estes ;)). I can't wait to see the drama unfold. With the insane success of Gossip Girl last season, I know 90210 will sweep in with full force! (Had to add some pictures!)

Poor Micheal. From The Wire to 90210. Filming locations have to be better then Baltimore City though.

As if there isn't enough threads on this already, but I am very excited to see Shenae Grimes from Degrassi the Next Generation is a part of the show.

Did Donna Martin graduate?

I believe 90210 is on at 8pm and One Tree Hill is at 9pm. There premiere is 2 hours though. |
