Wasn't as good as the first two seasons, but still much better than the Celebrity editions. Jon Kelly is still a bit too much in 'host-mode' for this and seemed a bit unsure of himself, but is still better than Ahmad. And the touch screen at the elimination distracted from the suspense. But the core game was still there, though, even if it was dumbed down a bit so far... which will keep me watching.

Thought it was pretty good, not much different than what I remember of the first too seasons. Jon Kelly seems to be a good host, but you can really tell the segments where he redubbed his lines, as his tone is much more affected.
I'd hate to have that OBGYN delivering my baby:
NURSE: The umbilical cord is around the baby's neck. You need to do something!
DOCTOR: [head bob] Only two things I have to do is be black and die! [snap]

Other than that, I'm really amused at how out of shape all these people seem to be - especially the tall, skinny guy who can't run around the beach to find stuff and the tough New Yorker who just gave up on his task to keep putting sand in the hourglass. Of course, either of these two could be the Mole putting on a show, right?
Overall, it was okay. I'll give it another week or two. When does TAR come back?

Jon Kelley needs to go. Just listening to him with his 'fake' voice really turns me off.
I just finished watching the first season marathon tonight and it's obvious that in the 7+ years in between, peoples treatment of other people has degraded immensely.
Sure, there were heated moments during the first season, but no one looked down at the other players and there was a mutual respect between them, even if they didn't get along.
This group of 'young' players seem to think the only way to build themselves up is to 'degrade' some of the other players. It kind of reminds me of some people that I deal with on the internet!

Since the premiere of "The Mole" tanked big time, I wonder if it will make it past the second episode...

Don't know much about those spoilers, but I just got a feeling during the opening credits, that the mole may be the soccer coach/history professor. Hey, it worked for me during the first season, so who knows?
For the record. I think this is so far, a close second to the original.

Paul's obviously a loudmouth ass, but he speaks the truth.
Nicole and Bobby are unbearable. Seriously, being pushed around in a wheelbarrow? If he is the mole, he's being waaaay too obvious about it. I'm thinking he's just that big of a pansy.

I guess my definition of a pansy is just a person who's a weakling and can't handle any physical activity. Bobby seems to be that, because like I said, he couldn't honestly think people would buy an act like that (if it were an act), could he?
...although after thinking about it, he might just believe they'd fall for it, since he apparently fell for the one guy's leaving his journal out.

Bobby could be putting on an act so that everybody thinks he's the mole. Then again, he could be the mole and making it so obvious that everybody thinks he's putting on an act so that everybody thinks he's the mole. So I can clearly not choose the wine in front of me.

I find most of the contestants so unlikeable that it ruins my interest in the show. Why is it necessary to get the loudest, most hateful people? Part of the appeal of the original version was that the contestants were not like other reality show contestants. I had to fast forward through some of the show because I could not stomach listening to some of these jackasses.
