I know I skip over a lot of commercials, but I never even realized that Arnett's been doing the GM commercials. For the last decade? Geez.

Yeah I'm trying to play back GM commercials in my head and all I can think of is GM truck commercials and the voice in my head sounds a lot like Sam Elliot. I'm sure I'm way way off base.

I wish they would have kept Mr. Feeny, but then to hear they got rid of GOB also... well that's just a kick in the nuts.

Exactly, which is why the silly H wheel is impractical!

I am glad the actor who played Twikoff has some work again!

Seriously, that could have at least done 1 thing right for old-school KR fans.

It worked for Optimus Prime.

Bad idea especially without William Daniel's voice.
Why?

What's next "ChipS 2008"??

I hope Kilmer turns on Morrison mode for this.

KITT can get drunk off some bad ethanol, or a bad gas-line might impair his judgment! A fat-bloated KITT could get arrested in Broward county for allegedly showing too much tail-pipe! Think of the possibilities!

My DVR is showing that this will not be in HD. That can't be right, can it?

Well, if the HD is bad as the Sunday Night Football on NBC, I'd rather watch it in SD anyway.

This should be a straight comedy starring The Hoff and his black leather jacket. KITT shouldn't have been changed either. Especially the voice. Some things just shouldn't be messed with. Next thing you know they'll give Optimus Prime flames. Oh wait.

It's not a 'show' as in series -- for now, it's a one-time movie

Movie length "pilot"?

I didn't look at those clips, but I'm very hesitant to watch this.

Is it at least 2 hours, or 1? If so, it will probably be very similar, as in weak, to the Bionic Woman pilot.

It's a 2 hour movie of the week. It's basically an unofficial pilot to a possible series for the fall. If the ratings are good, NBC will probably order it to series.

If those clips are anything like the longest promo I've seen for this, I already know how vomit-inducing they must be.

Speaking of Peter Cullen, who will replace him as the voice of KARR should the prototype have a cameo in this movie/pilot? After all, since they didn't bother to get William Daniels back, why would they get Peter Cullen?

I would prefer some original shows, not remaking old shows that sucked the first time around(Bionic Woman).

So, if I watch this just to witness the eventual train wreck and it gets picked-up for the fall schedule, does that make me part of the problem?
