I just read a report that Carson Daly is starting his show back up. His show isnt even funny with writers so it shouldnt be a problem.

I read something about this a while back. It's because the networks are afraid that if they air a really old episode, then viewers will tune out and watch something new. If they run one that's just a few weeks old (with jokes that are still somewhat topical), they reason that the viewers won't be able to tell it's a repeat.
