So lineage-wise, Monica Hawkins is D.L.'s sister making Micah her nephew and her son Micah's cousin. Both Monica and D.L. had powers which means that Nana (Nichelle Nichols) or her husband also had/have powers and the cousin may have unrealized abilities as well.

Random thoughts:
-Parkman / Father storyline gets a thumbs up from me. That was a nice twist to the story.
- The Claire storyline is beyond annoying now. It's gradually more obvious how Noah is going to die with the ongoing deception in that family.
- The pacing and story-jumping was better this week. It was almost better without Hiro and Peter
- When Slyar finally kills the Blunder Twins, I'm betting the power will backfire on him.
- Thank god Nathan shaved that ridiculous beard. But I have no idea what's going on with his scarred face.

If I remember correctly, Taskmaster can only learn moves that have been used against him. He can't use a Captain America move unless he actually fights Cap. With Echo though, all she had to do was watch something on TV, and she could do it. There's even a sequence where she rents a ton of martial arts movies to learn all the moves.

That figures that we can't get a good look at Mr. Petrelli's face. If he does show up, in a flashback, maybe they can get John C. McGinley to do a cameo. That was the first person I thought of when I saw the photo.
I hope that Claire tells the truth to her father soon, because it is driving me nuts.
When it was revealed that Matt's dad was in the group, I sat up and said "What the hell?" out loud.

Even if Sylar's powers were working, I doubt he'd kill the twins that fast. He doesn't even know what they can do yet - which is why he yelled "what are you doing to me?" Once he figures out their gift, then their geese are cooked.
Anyone else expect to see Claire's dad standing there when the camera pulled back from the Hollywood sign?

I wonder if the wonder twins are like the new couple last year on Lost. If they originally were meant to be an intregal part of the show, but fan hate makes the writers/producers just kill them off.

I'm thinking no. Other way he'd kill the twins really fast.

Not for nuttin, but the promo for last night's ep insinuated that it would be revealed who the hooded killer was. Did that happen? Or was I so dumbstruck by the appearance of a stripper pole in a fast food restaurant that I missed it?

That's exactly what I thought. How did Sylar go from the island jungle to the desert Mexican road so quickly. I got the feeling that he wasn't supposed to meet the Wonder Twins or at least not yet.

right, but it's easier to believe that he was being shown the illusion of the island and was actually in Mexico, than it is to believe he was actually on an island and somehow made his way to mexico.
but i agree it hasn't been explained in either situation.

I think Candice is vain enough to never reveal her fat self to people, so by showing the viewers that she returned to her fat self, she was killed by Sylar after all.

It was weird, but towards the beginning of the episode, I think around the time that Nathan was talking to his mom at the hospital, I thought to myself "I wonder when we'll see Parkman's dad?" And, whadayaknow, a few minutes later he's introduced as the villain.
No Hiro? No Peter? Why set those stories up at the beginning of the season only to drop them for an episode? Why not start them later?
Yeah, I agree that this show has too many characters and the writers need to figure out what to do with those they already have before introducing more... Except we get K. Bell next week, so at least one more character is yet to be introduced... *le sigh of love* *le sigh of frustration*

Sylar was never on an island. While we first saw him this season sitting on a beach, that was revealed to be an illusion -- he was actually in a hospital bed, indoors. Last week, we saw him kill (probably) Candace and leave the building he was in -- only to find that he was in the midst of a large wooded/jungle area, which is obviously (in light of this week's developments) in Mexico.
