I would start with the Dundies. That's the episode where the show really took off and became great. It would also work well as a first episode because its before you know much about the characters so its a good starting point. I'd also recommend The Injury or Email Surveillance, but really any season two episodes would work to get someone hooked. Definitely don't start at season one. I know i was turned off by the show as well as many other people i know because of the first few episodes. Looking back their not bad, but as starters their awful.

"Gay Witch Hunt" just cause the are so many parts that are just sooo wrong.
I also concur with many that "Diversity Day" is an excellent choice as well.

Thanks all. Looks like it'll be "The Injury" and "Diversity Day." And thanks for the recommendation of "Arrested Development", you can't beat $20 for a whole season even if it is a blind buy.

I'm on the last disc of season 2, I think this is my fourth or fifth time watching them.

I've seen the Injury so many times and still laugh out load at it. I also like the Christmas episode from the second season, it was the first episode I watched so it holds a special place with me.

I realize that you've already made your decision, but I'll give you my 2 cents of info anyways. I would honestly show them the 1st 2 episodes of the series if just for them to see how different things are from episode 1 to 2.
I was really underwhelmed after seeing the pilot the first time, but after the second episode, I was hooked. I think the problem was that since the pilot was a "remake" of the British series' pilot, the humor didn't translate as well to the U.S.

When showing this to office virgins (pre-emptive thats what she said) I use basketball and the coup. Save the drama for after they have a good impression.

I could never decide, they're all so good! Kevin is one of my favorite characters, so the more of him the better. The latest line that had me rolling from Michael Scott... "Dwight, you ignorant slut!"
