Upcoming releases I'm looking forward to are Bob Saget's and also Jim Norton's 1 hour HBO special comes out on DVD 10/16.

I caught the edit, I'm subscribed.
Patton Oswalt's Werewolves and Lollipops is a CD/DVD set. I haven't checked out the CD, but I watched the DVD the day UPS delivered it. Comedy CD/DVDs are the main reason I'm a member of Amazon prime.
Zach Galifianakis: Live at the Purple Onion is 5/5 for me, as is Joe Rogan: Live. I'm still waiting for the Comedy Central episodes of The Comedians of Comedy to hit DVD, I wish they'd packaged them with the COC special (which is excellent).

Watched about 15 minutes. Total train wreck. Saying dirty words should not be one's entire routine; a headliner should mix in the occasional joke, you know, for the hell of it. I liked him in The Aristocrats and maybe he got better here, but I couldn't watch anymore to find out. If I can keep one person from making this upcoming DVD as a blind purchase, my life would feel complete.

I like Bob Saget though. He had me cracking up the last time I saw his stand up and he's hilarious in his cameos but this stand up special just didn't do it for me.

Yep, I watched for a couple minutes and it was awful. Haven't seen The Aristocrats but his Farce of the Penguins was horrible (IMO).

Farce of the Penguins was horrible. I didn't watch even 20 minutes of it, and I love the guy. I was going to blind buy this dvd, but now I'm thinking twice...

That was bad. Really, really bad. So bad that I felt both embarrassed and sorry for Bob. The meaningless cursing appeared to be a desperate cry for attention. The unfortunate thing is that he can be really funny when he is not trying so hard to shock people.
The jokes about screwing his on and off-screen daughters were not even close to funny. They were actually rather disturbing. I wonder if an emergency child custody hearing is in his future.
The most entertaining part was his description of videos that were sent to Americas Funniest Home Videos but did not make it onto the show. The rest was forgettable dreck.

I didn't expect much, and got even less. I knew he was a dirty comic, but it was 15 minutes of random swearing until I gave up.

My wife and I lasted 10 minutes and turned it off. He seems to be trying to over compensate for all the family shows by cursing constantly. None of it made for anything funny.

I agree with everything said here. This just sounded like he had Tourette's or something. I could even stomach the overused profanity if there was at least something funny behind it... but this was just meandering nonsense. "Don't laugh at that!" Don't worry Bob, I didn't.

It was such a train wreck it was funny. I missed the first half, but he started talking about that one guy....just on and on....he was just....out there. Come on, he worked in animal porn, his 17 year old daughter's thong, Dave Coulier's sexuality, and Full House in a few minutes!

I thought it was moderately amusing, at least up until the guitar came out.
Most of it was just trading on the concept of seeing/hearing Saget "talk dirty", which I guess was supposed to make the stuff funnier.
I've seen far worse standup acts, but I've also seen better.
