I liked this mini-series quite a bit, and will definitely watch it if it becomes a regular series. Was I mad at how open-ended the finale was? Yes! Did I see that coming? Yes. Does it matter to me? No, it does not. I enjoyed the character development quite a bit over the few shows that were aired. I know a lot of you didn't like the 4400-freak-of-the-week type plot, but I for one would enjoy that as long as they did that while maintaining a main story line. Hell, I watch Smallville all the time and they forget about the main plot almost every episode. I also enjoed the "teen drama" that Shawn was going through. It made the show a lot more character-centric for me. I was never a fan of X-Files, but this show left me more of a Roswell feeling. I for one will be glad when this becomes a regular series.

He was a finalist (as was Christopher MacDonald) for the role of Will Riker.

Excellent news. Unfortunately I was only able to watch the pilot episode due to it's weekly time slot(I always seemed to miss it). But good news - the DVD will be released 12-21-04 on a 2 disk set. It will be 16:9 also which is great. I definately can't wait for it's release so I can catch up. And I'm extremely glad they announced more episodes as it was simply and amazing show from what I saw.

I think that's great news. I really liked the series and couldn't get enough, that might have been because I watched them back to back over a two day period. But I'll definitely give a longer season a chance.

Good. I enjoyed this the first time around, but like so many of these, they let you forget about them completely before the bring them out again. Nice recipe for failure, especially for this type of show.
But I will be there.

for anyone who may want to buy the first season, they dropped the MSRP to $19.95 (from $27.XX) unfortunately there's no extras, but for two disc, 6 episodes, $13.XX in change at DDD isn't too bad (and even less when the 20% sale hits)

There you go with your DDD 20% sale stuff again.

You should start a thread.
