yea, and the show was co-created by Todd A. Kessler, a writer for the Sopranos for two years...no lack of quality talent on this series! i can't wait. a few more hours!

I thought it was good and will tune in next week. It was better than the past few shows FX has launched.
Close was great.
It reminded me a bit of Rob Lowe's post-West Wing failure "The Lyon's Den"

Yeah, very good first episode that screams a Golden Globe nomination for Close. Unlike some serialized dramas, this one has hooked me so far. Hopefully it will continue...

I will watch the replay tonight. The promos were very annoying with their ambiguity and really made me feel like not watching, especially after how lousy Dirt was and how "meh" The Riches was.
Hopefully I wil get into it.

^ Yep, it was. I kind of suspected she was behind it, but still a good twist.

Same here. I enjoyed it. It looks like Glen Close's character is going to be one that I love to hate. Should be fun.

Still pretty good episode. I'll be tuning in.

Only on Tv is right.
Good start... I'm looking forward to finding out how the beginning became the end for her. She seems to be in some deep trouble.....
I hope it doesn't turn out that the boyfriend was in on it from the beginning too and she had to defend herself, because as it stands right now, it looks like she killed him.

I guess I'm in the minority. I thought it was a very poor pilot. The acting was particularly bad. Everything was obvious from the moment her fiancee's sister was revealed to know Frobisher. I will admit that the preview for the rest of the season did look far more intriguing than the pilot episode itself. I will tune in next week to see if my opinion changes, but so far, not so good for me.

I thought this pilot was excellent. Even if the ending was telegraphed, the acting on this show is pretty great and they have set up some very interesting characters and I am really interested to see where this is heading (in the past and the present). FX is back on track with this one (although after a very slow start, I did end up really liking The Riches).

I feel as though the fault lies in the dialogue. Some of it felt amateurish and hackneyed, without any sort of "feeling" behind it.
I will undoubtedly be tuning in for a few weeks, but the script will have to pull itself from the drugery to truly drive it's talons in me.
