Grey's Fires Isaiah Washington

This shit needs to end. Isaiah isn't making himself look very good for future jobs by dragging this saga out this long.
He's needs to close the Grey's chapter and move the hell on.

Washington is a creep anyway you look at it and I am sure taking a class didn't change his views towards Gays. I think, he thought, that he attended this required class that everything he said would magically go away but, it did not and now he upset about i.

He needs to just move on. He should look at the bright side. He got out early before this show completely goes into the tank. It's coming off of a 3rd season that was mediocre at best.

Did TR say any racial slurs?
I wasn't there but I doubt TR said anything of that nature and saying what he did to TR could and may damage his career because he was "Outed" shortly after that in the media.

Isaiah, 43, choked Patrick Dempsey, 40, in an Oct. 9 fight on the set of Grey's Anatomy.
Patrick and Isaiah clashed over cast members being late to the set, right before shooting a scene at Prospect Studios in Los Angeles.
A heated discussion quickly escalated to violence when Isaiah snapped.
At one point, Isaiah yelled, "I'm not your little ****** like TR".
During the brawl, an enraged Isaiah grabbed Patrick by the throat and shoved him a few feet.

Needs to contact a mod about multiple accounts
Yikes:
I’m not firing back at anybody else in the cast but T.R. Knight and Katie Heigl because they both know as well as Chandra Wilson knows that T.R. Knight was very tactical in trying to remove me from the show because he knows that I know, and I was gagged, that he has been working on a conspiracy to get Patrick Dempsey and myself off the show for the last year and a half. I know Patrick Dempsey has supported me by stating that if there is anyone that needs to be fired it is T.R. Knight because he has created such a negative environment on that set because he felt like he has not been treated and given the same leading man kinds of story lines. This is something that T.R. Knight has been trying to do and using the incident of the so-called F-word that was targeted at him, which is a flat out lie, to blackmail the writers into doing his bidding, and it’s not working. The producers are not happy about it, and quite frankly, they all think that something has gone awfully awry with the stability of T.R. Knight. And I can freely say this now because I am no longer a Disney employee and I am no longer gagged. But everyone there, including the producers, all the way up to Touchstone, are very disappointed in the behavior of T.R. Knight. All of this I’m saying to you has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that he’s gay. [T.R. Knight] he came out October 19 as purely a tactical move to do exactly what it did, get public opinion in an outrage to lead them to believe that he is being picked on because he is gay. He could care less about the gay community.

You know what, as much verbal diarrhea as Washington spews I'm siding with him here, assuming what he's saying is the case. If he called Dempsey a faggot, and not Knight, then who gives a rat's ass? Everyone is such a pussy these days. Everything has to be PC, people need rehab (REHAB!) if they use a racist slur. Get the fuck over it already. I miss the old days, which I ironically didn't live in, where men handled problems like men, not whining little bitches.

All of these workplace scenarios and "if I called blank and blank" stuff isn't working for me. TV and movie sets are different from regular workplaces. That's unless someone yells "cut" after we lay that last brick down. My job doesn't have the trappings of a set--and none of the skewed rules either....
My problem with the whole thing is the way TR Knight handled this publicly. Washington didn't tell him to come out, he did it on his own volition.
I do find it a bit interesting that Patrick Dempsey's character was basically given nothing to do for a lot of last year, well, besides being Meredith's lap dog. None of the guys are hitting it out of the park romantically like George is. George?
Hate to say it, but I'm enjoying Washington's tirades I bet most of it is based in truth.

Seems like this show is becoming crap anyways. The last 7-8 episodes were sometimes painful to watch. Hopefully it can return to the standards that it had the first season. If it doesn't change I will personally be hoping that the entire hospital blows up the day that the Chief and Bailey take the day off.

And, no, I'm not saying it justifies Washington, but the guy shouldn't be fired for something like this. It's another case of minorities, in this case gays, taking a flag and running with it. An apology should have sufficed.

Washingston should have been fired. Probably should have been fired when the brouhaha started. Instead, he was allowed to work and then repeat the word faggot at an awards show. And in the most bizarre twist, he wins a NAACP award.
With all his homophobia, maybe the guy needs to come out of the closet.

Only valid point Washington has is that he did everything they asked and then they fired him. This was handled extremely poorly by the production company. He should have been fired the day after it happened.
"I'm not your little ****** like TR".
How is that not calling TR?

Why is the worse? Well, I think you answered your own question by putting it in asterisks.

That's good in case some people might forget themselves and post that word for the heck of it. Really, I think any expletives or examples don't have a place in the conversation. We're all over 5, we know which words are "good" ones and "feel bad" ones.
