Last time I've seen him was in a episode of Master of Horror Season 1. He's a shell of his former self; maybe he's had a stroke.

TNT has been airing Thompson era L&O reruns this week. Now that he's announced his candidacy, does this violate some kind of equal time rule, or was that all speculation?

I'm not sure if the equal time rule technically applies to cable/satellite.

No the only thing that has changed is that he does not collect royalty checks for the episodes anymore. And Also he can't make new episodes anymore either.
