I think it's also available on HBO on demand (and has been for a while). My on demand doesn't work so I can't tell for myself.

A little disappointed.

In the first season of the show, I said that at a certain point, the band would have to find success or that the show would become depressing. Then the last episode sets up this whole change in story, which I think is interesting, but set up way too soon.

The fact is, the show is largely stand-alone episodes, so for in the last episode of season 1 and the first episode of season 2 for it so suddenly have a real chronology, it was just weird. And that was what I thought as soon as this new episode began...opening in Murray's office, with so much emphasis on the plot and not on the humor, even the way the show is shot was different.

As some people said, there were some great lines, espcially the women's right's line, but it wasn't enough. I'll be glad to see Murray back in his office and the band playing the circuit. I hate to say it, but I'll be happy to see more of the same.

Bret and Jemaine's fortunes unravel after Bret buys a new tea cup. With emergency band funds unavailable, Jemaine takes desperate measures in hopes of supplementing their income.

I thought it was hilarious. Jemaine with that gigilo scarf tied around his neck. Also loved the "massage" given to Mel...

Mel is great.

I also really enjoyed the Nigerian storyline.

and telling brett to be quiet while Nigel was using the internet.

I just watched the first season for the first time over the past week.

IMHO, this was the funniest episode of the entire series.

Excellent episode (was ep 201 filmed pre-strike and this post-strike because both Brett and Jemaine looked different, not to mention the new beginning this week). LOVED Sugarlumps and downloaded it from iTunes first thing this morning....so damn good. I liked how this episode's plot was pretty much 'Inner City Pressure'.

"It bounced because someone went on a $2.79 spending spree".

The new opening was on last week's episode too.

^For some reason I thought it wasn't (must have been because I watched it a few times online previous with the old beginning) but you are correct...that aside, they clearly looked quite a bit different IMO between the two eps. Anybody want to buy a Superstraw?

Hilarious episode last night -- the sugarlumps sequence was classic.

I just read that the amazing Michel Gondry is directing the Feb. 15 episode, "Unnatural Love" !!!

I watched this ep for the third time and still was dying laughing. I love that elevator scene where the landlord is trying to describe the "book" he read where to sell your body in. When he called it "How to get it done" I just loose it.

Weak start to the season so far, but I liked this episode much better than the first.

Wow...I think with the first being decent enough and this one being easily one of the top 3 episodes of the series ever, they're off to a fucking fantastic start...
