Inner City Pressure was great! Loved them in the car with Mel as well.

That was different. And not particularly funny, although I did like the Pet Shop Boy-ish vibe in their first song.

The second ep continued to be good- not great but good. Brett's version of "BOOM!" was a little better on their HBO special because he stressed the dance hall vocals a little more. But, I liked the story, the flow, and the homemade Brett surrogate gave me a good giggle.

I still liked it, if not as much as the pilot. I thought it was pretty funny how even granting that Jermaine missed Brett a little, the tape still came out ahead on the pros/cons list.

I thought last night's episode had some good funny parts. I'll keep watching.

Episode 3 was very, very funny. They finally made an episode that didn't look like a ripoff of Tenacious D. The rap song was incredible. "I'm hiphopopottomus, my rhymes are bottomless..."

Their agent has grown on me. His warnings about having gigs at night, and having to go out into the city when it is dangerous was great. He warned them, "What if someone bumps into you? Then what would you do?"

And the cop who described Germaine was funny. "Does he talk like a robot, like, 'Whut? Whut? Don't put me in there with them. I'm innocent. I'm innocent.'"

I've never seen tenacious D, so can't really relate to them being similar, but I just smile and laugh all through this show. I love it. The guys are great, perfectly deadpan.

I almost died when they were singing about slave kids and sneakers...

"They’re turning kids into slaves just to make cheaper sneakers
But what’s the real cost, ‘cause the sneakers don’t seem that much cheaper
Why are we still paying so much for sneakers when you got little kid slaves making them?"

...that's the funniest thing I've seen on TV since Arrested Development went off the air.

The third episode is definitely the best so far. This show is really growing on me.

"I'm the mother flippin..."

Loved the groupie, too, with the t-shirt of Germaine behind bars.

Ep 3 really won me over. Very well done, top to bottom.

"Could someone please remove these cutleries from my knees?"

Stalker/#1 fan girl having a t-shirt with Jermaine behind bars was fantastic. I love those little, subtle, background bits (well, I guess a co-actor's chest is foreground, but you know what I mean).

Unfortunately, both of these songs were on their HBO special (along with last week's "She's So Hot [Boom!]"), so the ep wasn't as funny to me as the other two which featured songs I hadn't yet heard. Still it's a very funny understated show. Hope they can keep the songs coming.

Agreed the show is fantastic, but I still think the songs work better in their stand up act. I'm hoping they break out some new material in future eps. For those who haven't seen the hip-hop song in their live routine, you NEED to check it out. It's beyond hilarious.

People tend to diss me
Say my rhymes are sissy.
Why?
Why?
Why exactly?

I'm starting to love this show, it's getting better every week. "If You're Into It" was .

"Then on our next date
Well, you could bring your roommate
I don't know if Stu is keen to
But if you want we could double-team you

How about you
And two dudes?
Him, you and Stu
In the nude
Being lude with two dudes with food
Well, that's if Stu's into it, too"
