Oh man so tempted to read that spoiler about the 4 toed statue! that is one of the biggest "WTF!?!?!" moments from the show for me. Going to stick it out though.

As for Heroes vs Lost, I know a bunch of people that love both. I tried to get into Heroes after a few episodes but the acting was just too hokey for me to get into it. I did see the preview for this past weeks where it's in "a future they hope never happens" and I immediately thought of X-Men Days of Future Passed. Sure, it's a ripoff of that but it's a cool idea and hey lest we forget there's plenty of talk on Lost boards about Desmond and alternate timelines etc. I think Heroes owes more to Lost's early breakout success which helped it get the green light than it does to the actual format or style.

Just tell me if Kate is going to take off her pants. That's all the spoiler I want to know.

Just finished here in Canada. Some interesting developments this week:

Spoiler:
We finally get confirmation that Locke's father was the one that scammed Sawyer's parents. Sawyer finds out and kills Locke's father by choking him with a chain. The type of death was a disappointment for me, since I was expecting something worse based on the spoilers.

GREAT EPISODE!!!!

This is what Lost should be. Not dragged out, a backstory that provides insight on the character in question while also adding to the story going on in the present timeline.

This episode is proving the theory...

Spoiler:

...that Locke's dad is the "real" Sawyer

I thought that was pretty obvious, and kind of what I figured for a while now (back in season 1 when EVERYTHING was connected.) Show isn't as un-predictable as it once was, running out of tricks .

This feels like a season 1 ep again, I like that feeling.

Yep, predictable, but still, DAMN! They're actually letting people spill the beans this episode.

Damn, intense scene. I wish I could get over the fact the 'real' Sawyer reminds me too much of Ron White.

I really hope a few more people die before the end of the season - namely Ben. Locke would be a nice subtraction, too.

And Jack.

Best episode in a long time. Theres just something about Locke walking around the island that reminds me of Season 1.

Anybody else think Jack has turned into an asshat?

I LOVE this show again. Every week since the show came back has been getting better and better. Now its to where I cant wait for next week. Love what they are doing with people not trusting Jack.

I loved seeing the old ship again too.

No -- I have thought he was an asshat since some time in season one.

Great episode. The Losties are finally starting to talk amongst themselves and rely information.

I guess
Spoiler:
Locke is the one who will became an Other. Fitting considering how he's always been obsessed with the island and it's magic. I guess he will be one that won't leave the island when they're rescued.

Next week's episode looks like the 'HOLY SHIT!' episode of the year. Can't wait. Start the countdown!
